Martina was fantastic! - This tour was 100% worth it, and my only disappointment was that we were only able to hit the highlights of the highlights in time allotted. I never got any art education to speak of, so this two hours, where she covered about six pieces in depth, was really eye-opening.

Amazing tour at the Galleria Borghese - It was fantastic visiting the gallery and learning about Bernini, Caravaggio and other great artists from a brilliant guide. Our tour guide took us masterfully through the highlights, explaining both how the pieces were created and the different interpretations of them. She pointed out what to look for and gave insight into their historical context. Having been on this tour we were able to appreciate the art and the artists of the Borghese gallery to a much greater level. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Rome!

Borghese Gallery Tour - The Gallery is not to be missed! But we wouldn’t have understood a fraction of the background without our fabulous tour guide, Martina. She told us the stories behind the stories, and it was wonderful. She is so knowledgeable, humorous and personable- a real gem!

Tour of Borghese - This guided tour of Borghese with MARTINA was a highlight of our trip to Rome. Her passion and knowledge of the art and sculptures was superb and we felt privileged that she shared so much with us. Fantastic experience!!

Great specialist tour - Our guide was a fashionable woman who clearly had a passion for the Borghese gallery and imparted that to us. Spent time on the first floor masterpieces of sculpture and second floor Caravaggio room with little left to see the remaining museum in 15 minutes that remained in our 2 hour window to visit. Cafe was closed good gift shop would recommend this tour to specialists rather than average visitor

Unreliable, Awful customer service with no attempt to fix their mistake - I booked this trip through The Tour Guy who then uses 3rd party, Doooing, for private tour of the Borghese Gallery. I was in Rome for the last trip my mom will likely take given her health. Prior to booking the manager himself at The Tour Guy sent me the link to use (since they first told me it was include with the Colosseum based on multiple email exchanges). I used the link and both times it said it was denied YET my credit card was charged. I then emailed the Tour Guy and they confirmed that one of the two processing requests went through. I received a confirmation number and ticket via email and they personally sent this to me. The day before the tour I received a text with the link to my tickets. I took a 40 minute taxi with my two young kids and my physically disabled parents to the Borghese Gallery to meet the Doooing tour guide. I arrived early and there was a group tour but they said they did not have a private tour guide. They called Doooing office who said "you are correct, we see your confirmation and reservation but we do not have a guide NOR the tickets to get you in Borghese Gallery." They offered to give me tickets for several hours later to enter (yet I had other pre-paid timed experiences set for that time and it was our last day in Rome). I said I will just take my 12pm tickets for entry and just forget about the guide. Then they tell me they do not even have the tickets for entry and the gallery was already sold out since the week before when I booked this through them and The Tour Guy. They never offered to "use" tickets from those in the group tours who showed up after I. Literally they were like "sorry it is our mistake but nothing we can do." I ended up leaving, taking another 40 minute taxi back to the city (so now spending close to $100 in taxi to and from). I requested immediate reimbursement for the pre-paid tour/tickets and the cost of the taxi and now 3 days later I still do not have it. I reached out to The Tour Guy as well and they point finger to Doooing's mistake. This is after I had also booked over $1200 of private tours the two days prior with The Tour Guy. They offered me a pathetic $50 credit to another tour with them in the future. I live in the US and who knows when I will be back, clearly my mom's last trip of the life, AND I will not use either of these companies in the future. I have more to say about The Tour Guy and communication you get before and then after you actually pay for the tours. Before you get immediate responses suggesting personal company and then you book and they completely limit communication. Highly disappointed to miss this special top 3 sites we wanted to see in Rome.
