A respite in Rome - During our recent visit to Rome, my daughters and I were privileged to spend an evening visiting the Capuchin museum and crypt. The museum is informative and interesting, well signed in English as well as Italian. The audio tour provided a rich source of additional information. Following this, we walked through the crypt which is an ossuary. Never before have we seen wall art created by human bones – fascinating! The highlight of our visit was a concert of sacred music performed by Roma Opera Omnia. A quartet of pure voices in perfect harmony… The audience was enraptured. As any tourist to Rome would attest, the city is very busy and very crowded. The concert offered a respite from the hectic life outside.

Unique Experience. - It was a cool, not so popular thing to experience. I usually don't like audio tours but this was well done - styled like an interview. Very informative. The crypt was interesting to say the least, and the Gregorian opera was amazing. I only wish they would do some longer pieces.

Heavenly concert along with incredible bone art - After a brief visit in the church, we headed to the crypt which housed four rooms decorated with bones mostly belonging to the Capuchins and one additional room without bones serving as their small chapel. The rooms with bones are incredibly interesting containing thousands of bones arranged as works of art. Each also contains the mummified remains of some of the monks. Afterwords, a concert with four singers performs religious songs through the ages. Listening with eyes closed is a heavenly sensation ending our unusual but definitely worthwhile experience.

An unforgettable experience 😁 - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 🥹 Me and my family, we have never seen something like this place, which made our experience very unique. The tour guide was passionate about what he was doing, so it was really interesting. We must admit that our favourite part was the concert! Sending big thanks to Paola Alonzi, Micaela Parrilla, Marco Ciardo and Stefano Sabene!!! They sang so beautifully evoking so many wonderful emotions. Since one of my family members had her birthday today, they also sang her a little happy birthday song and wrote little wishes onto the paper that was in the CD that we bought. We are truly glad to have come 💗

A Must See and Do! - This is an absolute must do! I have been to the Capuchin Crypt 6 times and this was the best of all the visits. First, Paola is incredibly responsive when booking tickets and makes it very easy to book everything. Don't be concerned about the payment process. This is my second time booking something with her and it's completely safe. Second, our tour guide was wonderful. His name was Lorenzo and he taught me things I did not know. Last, and most importantly, the concert. Beautiful, haunting, and an experience we will not forget. And will do again. I did not realize Paola was the soprano for the concert and her voice is stunning. Everyone, the tenor, contralto, and basso were also so wonderful. We wished the concert would go on longer. Be sure to buy a cd at the end for your memories! Grazie mille, Paola and team. We loved it. :)
