It was great to be able... - It was great to be able to enter the Castle right on opening. It is a beautiful and well preserved castle and a wonderful experience. The only flaw is that the ticket holder/ guide that we were supposed to meet was a little hard to find when we arrived at the entrance. I think it would be great to have a clear signage so it is easier for future travelers to find.

An easy win. - Easy! Entry tickets are good all day, and you download an app that serves as an audio guide. Take your time, get to know the history of the castle, see amazing views, enjoy a drink or light lunch at the top. The staff were very accommodating with schedule changes.

A must see when in Rome! - An absolute must see if you are visiting Rome. It was such a magnificent exhibition of Rome pre and post Christianity. We lucked out and got to see a special art exhibition that was on display through June 30 which was an unexpected bonus. The views from Castel Sant’Angelo are spectacular.

Skip the line not necessary - The venue itself was outstanding, but it was really not necessary to pay for skip the line. Not many people and no line up. People without skip the line entered at the same time.

Skip the line - It’s just an ordinary skip the line ticket. No guide, no audio commentary, etc. you meet the guy, he gives you a ticket and tells you to stand in a separate line. That’s all there is to it. I probably overpaid a bit, but since it was a last minute decision for me it was fine.

Could have just bought the tickets at the gate. - There is literally no reason to buy this there is not a tour. You simply grab your tickets for mote than they truly cost and walk around inside. We had a friend who is a professor with us so it was on for us but this is a joke:
