Throughout its history, the Castle has served as a private residence for Popes, a state treasury, a prison, and a site for public executions.
The tour will introduce the Emperor’s Burial Place, the Papal Apartment, and the Treasury Room. Discover the exquisite Angel sculptures crafted by the famous Gian Lorenzo Bernini along the travertine marble ‘’Ponte Sant’Angelo,’’ or Bridge of Angels, in Rome.
