The square is bordered by the buildings that stood on the remains of Domitian’s Stadium, and is characterised by the church of Sant’Agnese in Agone and the three important fountains that dominate the square: the Fontana del Moro, the Fontana de’ Calderari or Fountain of Neptune (both works by Giacomo della Porta) and in the centre the imposing Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.

We’ll encounter Piazza Navona, the city’s most noteworthy monumental square brimming with Baroque splendour, and marvel at the creations of Bernini and Borromini, the trio of fountains and towering obelisk. Our tour encompasses the renowned Trevi Fountain as well, a significant and visually stunning 2000 fountain that enhances the city’s squares and lanes.
