If you visit Rome, it can be quite a hassle to find your way around. Come see the Colosseum and the forum by night. (this is not an ticket to go inside the Colosseum) Joining this guided walking 2-hour tour is a great way to discover the city of Rome and enjoy the highlights around the Colosseum and the area around it. After the tour the guide will be more then happy to tell where to eat and drink.
Included in the tour will be: Piazza Venezia, Campiglio Hill, Trajan’s Forum, Forum Romano and will end in front of the Colosseum

Great history of the newer and ancient rome - Anna was very knowledgeable and brought us from the Victorians up Capitoline hill and through the ancient parts of Rome to the Colosseum

Poor experience - This was a real shame, we turned up with plenty of time to go at ten to 6, when we were told the tour would start at 6 from Piazza di San Marco. We couldn’t see anyone there gathering a group together, but another couple was also booked on the tour and trying to find it. After ten minutes they whatsapped and called the company, but couldn’t get through, so they gave up and went away. At 20 past I called again and was told the 6pm tour left from Piazza de La Republica! I sent pictures to show that I had been sent the wrong starting point information, and was offered an alternative much later tour - but it was too late in the evening for us, and when I requested a refund I was turned down! This is most unfair as I (and the other couple) were clearly sent the wrong starting point information for the 6pm tour! Not good practice - when you make a mistake you should own it and offer a refund!

Where's my tour guide? - All of the responsibility for finding your guide is on you and the location given was very vague. The DMs to the guide beforehand will not be answered. The DMs to Viator don't help bc they cannot contact the guide either. We did not realize that Viator is not the actual guide. It is a 3rd party and the name is listed once in small print in the notes so you have to look for someone with that name on a sign or wearing that shirt. In Rome there are hundreds of people walking around so it's not easy to find your guide. Very dissatisfied with this process.
