If you select the 3:30 pm tour when booking, your visit to Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum (which will occur before your Colosseum visit) includes access to the SUPER Sites. These areas, usually inaccessible to those with standard tickets, feature some of the most breathtaking ancient ruins in Rome. A highlight is the Casa di Augusto, the house of Caesar Augustus, adorned with vibrant frescoes that rival those found in Pompeii.

- Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
- 9 AM and 11:15 AM tours only: Join a small group of maximum eight guests for an intimate and personalized journey through history.
- 3:30 PM only: Access to Roman Forum SUPER Site
- This tour is fully refundable up to 7 days prior to the event. Within 7 days, this tour is 100% non-refundable.
- The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and must match the names on the ID/Passport. Name changes are not permitted.
- A government-issued ID or passport is required for all participants. Without an ID, security may deny entry to the monument. All guests, including children, must bring ID on tour day.
- The Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill may close occasionally. We’ll notify you of any changes in advance if possible. For last-minute closures, updates will be given at the start of the tour.

Educational, Enjoyable and Entertaining - Paulo was an excellent tour guide! Considerate, professional and knowledgeable. For example, he pointed slip points, and checked if tour members needed either physical or bathroom breaks.
He clearly has studied all three areas and provided extensive details that added to the experience.
He also provided counsel on how to navigate Rome (ie traffic stopping for pedestrians is more suggestion than requirement (ha, ha). And of course, the gelato recommendation was also spot-on.
Thank you so much for a fantastic tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum!

Amazing experience! - Our guide was Sabina, who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer any Qs. She did not stop talking and sharing her knowledge and stories - it was fantastic!
The meet spot was easy to find and the three-ish hours flew by with Sabina taking us on a wonderful tour of the Colosseum, palatine hill and the forum. Definitely wear comfy shoes and be prepared to be climbing lots of stairs and hills.
It was well worth having a guide as there are lots of security checks in the colosseum and at the start of the palatine hill. This can be a bit complicated - but she dealt with everything for us.
Would highly recommend Walks of Italy!

Great Colosseum and Roman Forum Tour - Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the sites. She handled the many questions had by one traveler very well. It was the perfect amount of time in both the Colosseum and Roman Forman. It was nice to bypass the lines with a guide. Make sure you go to the bathroom first, the one in the Colosseum is only at the entrance and the only group bathroom break is after entering the Roman Forum.

Highly recommend Emily as your Guide!! - Emily was a fantastic guide. Great information, very clear and ensured group knew what to do, where to go and kept the group together. We got caught in a very heavy down pour entering the archeological site and had cover, thank goodness, she kept everyone informed of status from security. Once it was determined the site was going to be closed, she let us know where to get a taxi. As we were all rushing out while the rain subsided, we didn't get a chance to give her a tip, which would have been well deserved...we feel terrible about that as she definitely deserved a nice one! Please give a big bonus to Emily!!

Have to See it to Believe it - The size and grandness of the Colosseum took me by surprise. It was beautiful. Our guide was an expert who kept it exciting with stories and fun facts and trivia. Never a boring moment. Skip the lines is worth it for sure!!!

3.30 Tour 13/09 - We did ths 3.30pm tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum & Paletine hill. The company was called Walks, everyone was friendly and the meeting point was easy to find. I'd like to say first that our host Paola was amazing. So much energy, fun and full of knowledge. Was raining heavily on the day of our tour which to noones fault put a dampener on the day. The tour itself was good and informative,and everything went smoothly. My only issue was that so much of the tour was in the roman forum and paletine hill over 2 hrs of it and only what felt like a short time (45 minutes) in the colosseum. I do think the rain played a big factor in the tour but as I was more excited for seeing the colosseum than anything else here in rome I felt like the part before (roman forum/paletine hill) dragged out too long.

Only a Small Group of 8 Tour at 2 times - Check before you book - Read and Re Read the information. This is only a small group of 8 tour at 9:00 AM and 11:15 AM. Very disappointed with this Tour which ended up not being a Small Group Tour. There were 18 people in our group (even though it states a max of 16 people). 😞
We weren’t the only people in this group who thought is was a max of 8.

Extremely Disappointed - We did not get to go on the tour for a number of reasons. 1: no where on the document did it said to be a half hour early. 2) the directions to pick up our tickets gave a street address of a park, we didn't realize we were to walk into the park to find our guide. We were looking for a store front. 3: we were chatting on WhatsupApp to 3 different representative that kept telling us that we were wrong location. We were right across the street from the park. Our chat with 3 representative was fruitless , delayed and confusing.
We were finally giving a phone number to call someone. By the time this all transpired we were late to the meet up point and told there was nothing they could do. That's it, no rescheduling or refund. I know for a fact there were 3 other couples confused about the meet up point while by the cafe in front of the park or about arriving a half hour early.
Extremely disappointed we didn't get to see the Collossum or palatine.
