- Colosseum - Begin your journey near the impressive structure of the Colosseum, the massive arena that attracted Romans from all walks of life to witness thrilling battles between gladiators and wild animals. Skip the lines and enter directly through a special gate once used by the gladiators themselves. Step onto the arena floor—an area typically closed to the public—and discover the dramatic events that unfolded here for entertainment centuries ago. For the 9 AM tour, join a small group of up to eight guests for a more intimate and personalized historical experience.
- Roman Forum - Continue your exploration at the Roman Forum. Having a historian as your guide will enhance your experience here. As you stroll through the streets, they will help you understand the ruins, highlighting the subtle differences that indicate whether a structure was a moneylender’s shop, a public bath, or another common ancient building. Discover what life was like during the times of Caesar, Nero, and Hadrian, and learn about the workings of Roman society.
- Palatine Hill - Conclude your tour by ascending the hill to view the palaces of Palatine Hill, built on the site where Romulus and Remus were found by the she-wolf in the legend of Rome’s founding. After a remarkable day of bringing ancient history to life, you will leave your group feeling more connected to the stunning ruins of Rome.
If you select the 3:30 pm tour when booking, your visit to Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum (which will occur before your Colosseum visit) includes access to the SUPER Sites. These areas, usually inaccessible to those with standard tickets, feature some of the most breathtaking ancient ruins in Rome. A highlight is the Casa di Augusto, the house of Caesar Augustus, adorned with vibrant frescoes that rival those found in Pompeii.
