Very satisfied - We had an absolutely fantastic guide (Laura), who had great insight and could tell exciting and lively stories. She spoke fine English and was good and helpful. We were there the week before Easter holidays, where there were many school classes. Their sound equipment worked really well.

One hour into a 3 hour tour, we gave up and left. - Guide was really hard to understand. She was either walking very fast between spots or she would stop for a very long time and talk about the same thing while our group baked in the hot sun. She chastised members of our group for talking when I could tell they were also have trouble understanding her and were asking each other questions about what she was saying. My son and I handed in our ear phones one hour into a 3 hour tour. She literally rolled her eyes at us to the rest of the group.

Little respect for the buyer - In summary: my review is a legitimate outlet from a customer who invested time, money and enthusiasm, and felt treated with superficiality. And I will tell you more: reviews like this are important, because they make the reader and, hopefully, even the mismanager think. My boyfriend and I booked a guided tour of the Colosseum, Forums and Palatine Hill for April 9, at 10:00. On April 8th we received a very cold WhatsApp message, without excuse, without choice, without any regard, informing us – in a hasty tone to say the least – that the tour would no longer be available at 10:00 as we paid and booked. We are imposed at 16:00 in the afternoon, with an audio guide instead of the guided tour, and as if that were not enough we are offered a discount as a delight. All this why? BECAUSE THERE WERE FEW OF US AND IT WAS NOT CONVENIENT FOR THEM TO START THE TOUR Not only was the message rude and totally one-sided, but we were the ones who had to make the phone call for clarification. And what clarification! We are told that if we wish to cancel, we should call Viator directly, with an international number and therefore at our expense. As if the time, money and patience of the customers mattered nothing. The icing on the cake: we are also told that, for the purposes of practice, it would have been written that we were unable to attend the new schedule, when the truth is that the agency unilaterally canceled the 10:00 tour, forcing us to an unsolicited and unwanted afternoon move. We found ourselves the night before, without a guided tour, with very little time to find alternatives. It is virtually impossible to find a guided tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Forums on such short notice and, on the off chance that we did, the price would surely be out of proportion. A price that we will be forced to pay, due to the inefficiency and total lack of professionalism of an agency that has allowed itself to completely change the experience without asking for anything, without listening, without offering dignified solutions. It seemed particularly serious to us that the responsibility for the cancellation of the tour fell on us, when instead it was a unilateral change by the organization. We find it unfair that we were asked to justify the refund request as if we were the one who had an incompatibility with the timetable, when the initial offer was not respected. We hope you will want to review the way in which these situations are handled, because the quality of service and respect for the customer are measured especially in times of difficulty.

Incompetent at best!! - The company sent us a change of date and time so we turned up the day requested and they said the communication was sent in error!! So we couldn’t take the tour and the young man at the enjoy Rome tour office swore at us when we got upset at their mistake. They said there was nothing they could do which I’m not surprised at as the staff at the office were a mixture of nonchalance, uncaring and actually rude telling us that he’d had a f’ing enough! Don’t book EVER!!!!!

Thieves! - Thieves... Sent by headout, which I also advise against, we had to collect two tickets for the parcel. Mistakenly, they didn't have the tickets. They give a phone number to get reimbursed but the number does not work of course. In my world, it's called stealing.

A total disaster!!!!! Do not use this agency. - We have been using Viator for years and never had such a horrible experience. We took a taxi to be sure to ge to the correct address that was on our paperwork. When there we found no flags or other signs. We did find a tour group and they said we were at the right place for our tour, but later told us that our tour group was a block away and we missed the entire tour. We still don't know what happened because we were at the exact address given to us and presented our paperwork and were then told we were not at the right place and our tour group was almost a block away and not at the address on our paperwork. We had to get in line to get our own tickets to see the Colosseum without a guide. We were to have a skip the line tour from 9-12, but instead had to wait until 2:30 to get into the Colosseum after paying again for entry and waiting in lines. This threw off our afternoon plans and we had no guide. We rushed through Palatine Hill and our whole day was destroyed. We paid $148 each for this fiasco.
