Meet us at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, a small round square at the terrace above the “Colosseo” Metro Station. Our staff will be easily identifiable in the center of the square, wearing purple T-shirts. Please note: if you are in front of the Metro Station, please make your way upstairs.

Misleading Tour from Crown Tours – Requesting a Refund - We booked the "Colosseum Guided Tour in English with Palatine Hill and Forum Access" through Crown Tours on Viator, based on the information provided on their listing. The description promised a guided tour of the Colosseum with up to 24 people, headphones for the tour, and access to Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum.
However, when we arrived, we were informed that there was no guided tour—just entry tickets to the Colosseum and access to a self-guided app. Despite showing the company the details from their listing, which clearly stated it was a guided tour, they did nothing to resolve the issue. Since we had already paid and it was getting late, we had no choice but to do the tour ourselves.
This was a massive disappointment, as we traveled from the UK to Rome specifically for this experience. To make matters worse, we later discovered that the Colosseum website offered the same tickets at a much lower price, also providing an app for the self-guided tour.
Crown Tours advertised a service they did not deliver, and I believe we were overcharged for something that could have been purchased directly for less. We are requesting a full refund for this misleading and frustrating experience. I do not recommend booking with Crown Tours, as they did not honor what was promised and refused to take responsibility for their misleading advertisement.
