Fast-track your way through the gladiator’s entrance and gaze upon the amphitheatre as they did centuries ago. Absorb the intriguing history of the largest ancient amphitheatre and its myriad of events, from wildlife hunts to simulated naval combats. Adjacent to it is the Forum, where you will find yourself amidst the vestiges of the Roman peak period. A guide will help you understand and relive this period. Learn about the ordinary citizens, senators, and enslave people who lived more than 2000 years ago and their daily routines. At Palatine Hill, you will have the chance to observe how the monarchs lived, with their well-maintained palaces and enduring decorations.
- In the case of inclement weather (rain, snow, frost…), the arena floor may be closed off without notice. Entry through the gladiators’ gate will not be affected but access onto the arena floor will be prohibited.
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
