Additional Information
Join Daniela (69 years old), Mario (71), and their son Nicolò in their home kitchen to learn how to make classic Italian dishes. You’ll also help prepare hand-made aperitifs while enjoying lots of fun and laughter.
We are delighted to welcome you into our home to share some of our family’s cherished recipes, passed down through generations.
Daniela has been cooking for her family for over 40 years. She loves having company in the kitchen and teaching her favorite dishes to those who enjoy learning and eating!
The menu we prepare and enjoy may vary with the seasons and will include:

A Perfect Experience!! - This was such a wonderful experience for my entire family! The six of us (three brothers and spouses) loved every minute of this perfect evening.
After being picked up from our hotel and driven to their home, we all joined in to learn about the food, culture and family. Nicolo' was a great host and guided us through all of the things we were learning about, tasting and preparing throughout the evening.
I have recommended this to so many people afterwards and look forward to returning to Rome and doing it all over again.
We are so grateful for being able to share a meal with such a loving family.

Genuine Fun - All the glowing reviews are well deserved. So glad we booked this experience. My husband and I had a great time and our 3 teens throughly enjoyed it. Nicolo kept us well informed beforehand and arranging a pickup/drop off was so convenient. This family is so kind, friendly, and fun! A not to be missed experience!

Food, family and fun for sure. What an amazing experience. 💚🤍❤️ - Everything about this experience was wonderful. We are a group of grad students finishing up a study abroad experience in Italy. We landed in Rome and had booked Cooking With Daniela as our Day 1 experience in Rome. After our busy itinerary it was exactly what we needed. The family is so welcoming and friendly. We helped prepare the dinner and learned and laughed throughout the evening. All the previous reviews were confirmed- you leave with new friends for sure. Definitely take advantage of the pick up service option. Thank you Daniela, Mario, Nicolo and your lovely aunt for a wonderful experience in Rome. Wishing you all the best!

Must do! - The best part of our trip to Italy! 🇮🇹 it was amazing to see how true Italian families live cook and communicate! They even offered to pick us up from our hotel!

Amazing!! - My friends and I had the private cooking class at Daniela’s home with her family. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience with amazing food, this is a must!!!
Daniela and her family are so welcoming and kind. We felt like family and had such a wonderful time!! Daniela, Nicolo, Mario (and there was another relative, I wish I could remember her name)… thank you for opening up your home to us! You are an amazing family and I’m so thankful that I got to meet you and spend an evening of cooking, eating, drinking wine, laughing, and enjoying this experience with you all. You’re an awesome family and am grateful to have met you all.

An evening well spent! - From the moment we booked with the “Casa Club”, Nicolo, Daniela’s son, was so attentive to every detail. While we did help prepare delicious dishes with the D’Elia’s, the cultural experience and opportunity to connect with this authentic, loving family, was quite possibly the highlight of our 10 day trip. We looked at photos, told stories, laughed, and laughed some more. The food was outstanding but the relationships formed will last a lifetime. If you are considering booking, don’t hesitate, don’t delay. This is a must do if you are going to be in Rome!

This is really a private family cooking a meal with you - This was so much fun! Nicol, Daniela and Mario will make you feel like part of the family. You will spend time cooking a delicious meal and spend even more time talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. They were happy to provide tips to recreate this meal at home. After two weeks of rushing to meet trains, flights and tours this was a perfect way to relax and finish our vacation.
Take advantage of the hotel pick up service. I think public transportation would be diffulicult and a taxi would be more expensive.

We have new members of our family - We loved learning to make gnocchi and saltimbocca. The homemade chocolate gelato was amazing and lemoncello was perfect.. we enjoyed visiting with Daniela, Lorella and Nicolò. They made us feel at home - just like family.❤️

Experience like a local - Such a beautiful experience! Nicolo picked us up easily from our Airbnb, and we arrived in a quaint neighborhood outside the city centre. We enjoyed great conversation, and his mom and aunt kept the foods and drinks flowing the whole time! My teenagers said this was one of their favorite experiences in our two weeks in Italy. Learning how to make the meatballs, bruschetta, and pasta was really enjoyable! Then homemade limoncello! Will miss our new Italian familia!

Memories to last a lifetime! - We had an amazing time at the private Cooking Class at Daniela’s home. Nicolo, Mario, and Daniela were so welcoming and kind. It was such a special time as we shared, laughs, stories ,and the most delicious meal.
If you want a unique experience and experience an authentic Italian meal with genuine and lovely people book this I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
This is an experience that we will cherish for years to come and a memory we will never forget. We know have a piece of our heart in Rome with our new friends.
