The best daytrip you can get! - Our guide Barbara was very enthousiastic. She entertained everyone even on the bus whit not only info about pompeii and history but also about places we had to see, places where we had to eat. And learning us some italian. Even for the kids like me and my sister she made it very fun when we did a stop to eat at a pizzeria she showed the kids how they made pizza and she told us the history of pizza. It was super fun i would really recomend this for adults and for parents whit kids. Thx Barbara!

Thank you Angela! - My Husband and I went to Pompeii. Angela was our tour guide. The trip to and from went by fast as Angela was very entertaining. She had a lot of knowledge about the area. Angela answered our questions and recommended places to eat and see. On the way back to Rome, Angela and the bus driver took good care of all of us and the day was very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this trip!

Pompeii snafu - There was a miscommunication with our tickets being transferred to the people at City Wonders due to a late booking, but Angela was extremely courteous and went out of her way to help us get sorted out so we didn't miss the trip when she could have very easily left us to deal with it on our own and lose a day or the money. We ended up being with the correct group with Valentina. Both of these ladies have a passion for what they do and genuinely care about the people they are guiding. I would give 6 stars on customer service alone. Don't book anywhere else!

Definitely worth a visit - I booked this trip for myself and mum who visited Rome in November. We arrived at the meeting point 15 mins early to see our guide waiting. We were told we were the only people on the tour so rather than going by bus we were going in a chauffeured Mercedes car. This meant we were able to get there much quicker and by arrived ahead of time. The guide provided some very interesting facts on the way. Pompeii was practically empty when we were walking around and we stayed for probably a couple of hours, it was getting so busy by the time we left with massive queues at the entrance. The drive from Rome was about 3 hours and we stopped both ways for a quick toilet break. On the way back out tour guide gave us more facts and useful tips about our stay in Rome. We didn’t go for the guided tour around Pompeii but in hindsight this would have been useful to have

Great experience - We started off at our meeting place that was easy to get to and find the tour. From there we met our guide Angela and walked across the street to our bus. The bus was cozy for the 3ish hour drive. About half way into the drive you stop by a shop for a quick cafe and to use the restroom. Throughout the drive Angela provided history that painted the picture for us. Once getting to Pompeii, Angela got us into the archeological area and we were on our own. There is so much to see! We downloaded the recommend app which followed us via GPS and allowed us to click a specific spot and read more information. On the way back to Rome, Angela talked about different histories of Italy and culture. Even did a deep dive into food history! Overall enjoyed our trip!
