Definitely a highlight! - The trip was fantastic! Definitely a highlight for many in our party. It was amazing to bike on the ancient Appian way and the aqueducts towards the end were amazing to see. Adding extra time for the catacombs was a must do too. They worked with my kids to find the right size bike for each of them.

Overall excellent experience of this bike ride in history! - The overall experience was excellent - the welcome at the meeting point, the tourguide (thanks a million Marie!), the e-bikes are in top shape, and the tour was magical. I still can’t believe that finally (35 years ago I learned about the ancient Roman empire, the Via Appia and the aquaduct) I have now finally visited it all! Loved every minute of the bike ride!

Give it a go - it's worth it! - We booked the e-bike tour of the Appian Way and Aqueducts tours. Nima was our guide. It was very easy for us to navigate as adults on the e-bikes. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, considerate and even offered to take our photo for us at the beautiful stops along the way. If you're contemplating booking this tour, DO IT! You will see Rome in a different light and appreciate it all the more!

Wonderful day biking around the city. - We did a guided tour (Appian Way) and then returned a week later to rent bikes and do our own tour (Grab Route - around Rome). Appian Way: Our tour guide provided interesting information about sights along the way and was very enjoyable. We used e-bikes for the tour. Comfortable and easy to ride. We rented Mt bikes and did a self guided tour around Rome. I would recommend renting a holder for your phone!!! We had a few issues navigating some of the turns BUT we completed the loops. The bikes were perfect and it was an incredible experience seeing how much green space Rome has. The loop is just about 30 miles and is done with a moderate amount of effort.

Great bike tour, fantastic guide, highly recommend - Fantastic tour in every way. Our great guide Ali showed us how to use the e-bikes. He gave very interesting explanations along the route that made all the sites come alive. Delicious pizza stop, not expensive. The route was so much fun, and the catacombs stop also very interesting.

Another fabulous tour of Via Appia and more with TopBike! - This tour was the second that I have experienced. The first time (November 2023) was fabulous and showed my wife and I a perspective and understanding of Roma which expanded our view of the Appian Way and the environment surrounding the city. The second tour, in January 2025, with my wife and son, visited the Appian Way in a different and interesting way en route to the Catacombs of St. Sebastian. The guide (Francesco) was engaging and informative as he offered history and stories of the places we visited along the way. The visit to the Aqueducts Park was also a highlight, as was the ride through open spaces and trails on such a gorgeous day in Roma.
