Colosseum in June - The four of us spent a hot summer day with Lorenzo. He did a great job with stories surrounding the Colosseum. Everything was paced well and he kept things interesting. 3 hrs was a lengthy time- but helped create a complete picture. Younger kids may have a harder time- but the adults will learn a lot.

Worth the spend - Bring water and shade if going in the summer months. The tour guide was very informative and engaging but it was a long and hot tour with little shade. Teens got a little antsy after a few hours.

Amazing ingenuity, fantastic tour. - Our guide Francesca taught us so much about the colosseum and dispelled some myths. We learned about Roman ingenuity and feats of engineering within the colosseum, and had ample time to ask questions and take photos. We almost skipped taking a tour in favor of just taking photos from the outside. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip!
