Rome to Florence day trip - Very smooth. Mateo met us at Cafe Trombetta at ~7 AM and gave us our round trip train tix. He gathered the group together around 7.50 AM and took us to our platform. After arriving in Florence he gave us basic instructions and handed us over to a local guide, who gave a nice tour of key spots of central Florence including a view of the Arno river. She subsequently gave us a tour of the Uffizi Gallery. After the Gallery tour, we were on our own. We met Mateo at the station close to six. He ensured we were on the return train to Rome. Overall a good and beautiful experience, especially given the Christmas season.

Train trip to Florence - Was a great trip. Long day lots to see. Guides were great. The only thing we got picked up at the hotel in the morning would have been nice to be taken back to the hotel afterwards.

Wonderful Florence - The entire day was wonderful. Gabriele, our main guide for the tour did a great job. He was accommodating and had so much to point out. He made us feel like family. We also had an additional local guide for the museum who was incredibly knowledgeable. We had plenty of alone time to explore the city. Simply an amazing experience. Recommend.

Fantastic Trip - Our tour guide Valentina met us in Rome and stayed with us most of the day. Giovani was our guide for Uffizi and the city, he was a wealth of information and actually made it nice for people who weren’t that knowledgeable about art. Free time in afternoon was great to shop and find a cocktail near the piazzas. Great experience, and 5 stars for Valentina and Giovani!

Florence - The best part was our private guide.the detail she knew of Florence and art was fivevstar. The frustration of the train delays almost ruined our day. But it turned out okay. Skip the line means you still stand in line. You just don't have to stand in the ticket line.

Good - Trying to connect with the tour guide. Otherwise Florence was great besides there being a marathon in the city center.

Good guide - Very good tour guide in Florence. Viator should have made it more clear that I didn't have an access ticket to the Duomo, I was under the impression I did have, so mainly my fault, but I was very disappointed.

Misrepresented Tour as English speaking. - I booked an English speaking tour for two. It’s so happens my friend speaks English and Spanish. The entirety of the rest of the tour group were Spanish speakers. So this turned out to be really a Spanish speaking tour with a nod towards towards the one only English speaker. Mind you the tour leader was wonderful, and did the best under the circumstances. But she had to repeat everything twice in both languages, which was time consuming and meant we ALL received less information and attention, and our own language. It was very unfair to everyone, including the tour leader. This is truly a very negative experience. Since I booked an English speaking tour, I am very upset. If the tour was billed as multi-language when I was booked, I would not have booked.
