Great tour - This was a very nice way to start out tour of Rome. Our driver took us to all the highlights and a few areas we wouldn’t have seen. We were given plenty of time to get out and take pictures at each location.

Great! - Magnificent views, discovery of Rome and its small streets, the most famous monuments and a public garden (the garden of oranges) with stunning views of the Vatican dome... Original and funny experience thanks to our Guide Mario, connoisseur of his city!

A tour by a true local - Having Mario as your guide is like having a good friend that lives in Rome. He knows the locals, and the locals know him. He is very knowledgeable and thoughtful, discussing not just the basics of the sites, but the deeper meaning and historical context. We went on many tours while crossing Europe - Mario was the best.

Amazing tour! - This tour was fantastic! Eugene did an amazing job taking us to all of the key spots in Rome and explaining the history behind each location. He went with us into churches and showed us things we may have missed without his expertise. Definitely would recommend this tour to friends - and would hope they are lucky enough to get Eugene as the guide!

Fantastic - Alex was our guide and he was amazing and so much fun. He booked a 4:30 tour and we were the only ones on the golf cart. We enjoyed going from one side of Rome to other and he even stopped at a local spot for the best soupli in Rome. His knowledge was vast and thorough but not boring. We had amazing stops that provided gorgeous views. Highly recommend.

Roaming all over Rome - Eugene picked us up and took us on one of the best tours we have ever done. He took us all over inner Rome tailoring things to suit us, but most of all he had an incredible knowledge and passion for the architecture, art and history that made it extra special. As it was also a very hot day we appreciated being driven all over town and just having to get out and walk around the sites. Fantastico!

Huge thanks Eugenio for an amazing experience - Seeing Rome by golf cart was amazing! Eugenio was an AWESOME guide - friendly, extremely knowledgable, and patient answering many questions from our 8 year old. We loved seeing & learning about the Vatican, Pantheon, & Trevi Fountains. Never showed up - Terrible never showed up, No explanation no email, don’t answer phone. I was able to contact Viator support. All they offered was a refund in a few days.

Awful - The tour guide never turned up at the pick up site. Didn’t answer our messages or phone calls- we thought we had been scammed. Dreadful first introduction to Rome. Appreciated the email from Viator offering a refund.

Would not recommend - Our tour guide showed up 20 minutes late and ended the tour 20 minutes early. We scheduled this tour on the day we landed so it was stressful not knowing what was going on while we waited at the designated spot for the arrival of our guide. Booked through trip advisor so there is no accountability. Tour cost ~$600 for family of 4. No time for gelato or an espresso as they advertise …. Just a mad rush so they can get to their next tour in time. I recommend booking directly through a vendors website not trip advisor.
