True local flavors - We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Ilaria was a great guide and we were very lucky that the small group of 12 had a family cancel which resulted in 2 families of 4 (8 total participants) in the tour. I know this is not the designed experience but this made it perfect for us. All places visited were great. Not a high-end gourmet experience but a great way to taste some traditional flavors of Rome.

food and wine tour in Rome with a charming and knowledgeable guide (Mario). - The stops were excellent in terms of the food and wine and ambience. Mario, the guide, also gave us interesting information about the city as well as the culinary delights. The tour set the stage nicely for the rest of my Rome visit. Thank you!

Great tour but no pizza - Overall our food tour with Edwin was great. All of the food and wine we sampled was amazing and we learned a lot about Trastevere, which we likely wouldn't have visited otherwise. We ended up going back later during our stay to this area, which we really loved. My only complaint would be that I thought we were going to get pizza, which didn't happen.

Great host, maybe mix up the venue though. - This was our second food tour in Rome. I very much enjoyed our host, Ilaria. She was engaging and friendly and kept the group together. We tried cheeses and meats, suppli, amatriciano, caccia de peppi, veal saltembucca, gelato. It's about the same items offered in other tours, give or take. Some offer pizza, artichoke, tiramisu, espresso; but leave out saltembucca, gelato, meats/cheese. All the food was yummy. My reasons for not five stars: 1) we had two full courses at the same restaurant (pasta and saltembucca) and everyone in our group was getting antsy so move on and get our and about. We could have seen more of the city. 2) I would prefer to pay 25€ less and skip the alcohol. We're not in wine country, the wine was served in carafs, very little explanation was given for the wines and how to pair them with the foods, and there were two underage kids in the trip paying for alcohol but not drinking it. I always hate paying for mediocre unwanted beverages in good tours, but all the companies think we want that? 3) Ilaria could have been more engaging. When we did the tour with another company last year we were thought about the neighborhoods and some Italian phrases. But all in all, I'm glad we went and it was an enjoyable experience.
