Amalfi Coast - Amalfi was beautiful and the tour was great! Our tour guide had to work some magic to rearrange things due to the weather but made sure everyone had a great time. Definitely recommend!

Great guide—great tour! - Our guide Roberta was lovely and knowledgeable about the area’s history and culture. Though the rough waters forced us to skip the ferries, it didn’t make much difference. We were probably safer!

Stress free trip to The Amalfi Coast from Rome - A wonderful stress free day. Roberta looked after us and guided us in the right direction. We didn’t have to worry about train tickets or platforms which was such a relief. The trip to the lemon farm was very interesting with beautiful views over Amalfi. It was wonderful to have time to ourselves in Positano. We opted for a lovely lunch at a table overlooking the beach at La Cambusa then a gelato to wander around with. The cocktail trailer down near the ferry terminal made us some lovely gin and tonics to drink while we waited for our ferry. Roberta herded us safely back to catch the return train to Rome. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. This trip was so worth doing.

Perfect way to see the Amalfi in a day - Beautiful place and a perfect day from the sunshine to our tour guide, Andy, from Walks. The boat ride offers a beautiful view and the lemon farm visit offers a picture perfect shot from the top of the farm.

Great guide, beautiful scenes, well organized - Honestly, one of the best tours I’ve been on. John-Paul was a great tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable about all the places we went and super prepared. It started raining very heavily in Positano so our boat was cancelled but they had a relatively quick & effective back up plan. We had a private bus come pick us up and we ended up seeing the most gorgeous views driving back to the train station. It’s a lot of walking- so if you aren’t used to it, it might be difficult. My boyfriend and I had such a great time and would 1000% do it again. Even on a rainy day. Hahaha.

Unorganized terrible day - The day started out as two groups of 15 converged into one larger group as we took a train from Rome to Salerno. (Advertised as small group tour). It’s short walk from Salerno’s train station to the ferry doc. We experienced a slight ten minute rain storm during our walk. We boarded the ferry that shuttled us on an extremely crowded public ferry (with calm seas) to the city of Amalfi. As we walked to the Lemon Farm we experienced a light rainfall for about ten minutes, after the rain resolved for the day. The Lemon Farm offered beautiful views but the host’s presentation was lack luster and the limoncello tasting consisted of 1/2 teaspoon taste at best. The group was then informed that the ferry was canceled and they wouldn't provide a back up bus (their website clearly states their would be a bus if the ferry was canceled.) We spent the next several hours wondering aimlessly in a small city where all the restaurants were committed for the day and nothing to do (after walking back and forth through the small town. When i went to the doc we were told the ferries were still going to Positano for the day so again we don’t understand why we didn’t get to travel to our next destination. Upon return to Solerno to catch a train back to Rome, the guides informed us that we were an hour early so we wondered aimlessly near the train station trying to pass time. To add insult to injury once at the train station our train was delayed another 70 minutes. It was a long terrible day and very disappointed. I paid $277 a person so expected a first class operation, instead I felt like a 2nd grader on a horrible field trip. It’s not that hard to buy your own train and ferry tickets, go at your own pace and be in control of your own day.
