A Jewish Historical Tour With So Much Rich History - My mother and I had never visited Rome before, and were excited to explore the Jewish history of the city. Our tour guide, Sara, was not just a normal guide that points and explains. As someone who grew up in the Jewish community of Rome, her roots run deep, and she took us through a tour that felt more personal than business - which was amazing. We saw several sites, but also learned about the deep history of Roman Jews, from their beginnings, through WWII, and current day. During the tour, people who knew Sara that lived in the community came up to say hi to her, showing her deep connection to the area and people. The visits to the synagogue, Jewish Ghetto, and surrounding areas were heartfelt and fascinating. As American Jews, this was a fantastic tour to take to learn about the lives of Jews elsewhere in the world. Highly recommended, and I can't stress enough how wonderful Sara was!

Sara was in depth and inspiring - Sarah was prompt, knowledgeable, and so warm and personable. She gave us so much information, but really brought it to life with her back stories and parallels to her own family with deep Roman roots. Highly recommend this tour!
