Piazza Navona - We begin this tour by meeting at Piazza Navona. Piazza Navona is one of Rome’s most famous piazza’s. Formerly Domitians stadium which hosted olympic style games, now a beautiful piazza with some fantastic fountains. Here your guide will delve into the history of Domitians stadium and the battle of two renowned Italian artists: Francesco Borromini and Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
Chiesa di Sant’Ignazio di Loyola - An incredible church which is on the way to the Pantheon!
Pantheon - Surrounded by rustic cobbled alleyways, the towering Pantheon (formerly a Temple, nowadays a church) seems to appear from nowhere. Built by Emperor Hadrian nearly 2000-years-ago, it remains to this day the largest unreinforced concrete dome in the world. At night this incredible building looks phenomenal
Trevi Fountain - Undeniably one of Rome’s most romantic spots, the beautiful Fontana Di Trevi is the pinnacle of Baroque architecture. At night time the whole fountain is lit up beautifully, meaning we will be able to take a photo of you in front of the fountain that will last a lifetime! We’ll spend around 20 minutes here, giving you time to throw coins, make wishes and visit our favourite gelato spot.
Piazza Venezia / Ancient City - We will walk round Piazza Venezia where you can see Rome’s first ever renaissance building - Palazzo Venezia.
Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II - Rome’s tallest building towers above the skyline and was built to commemorate the Unifaction of Italy, and Vittorio Emanuele. At night time the building is lit up beautifully
Via dei Fori Imperiali - We will walk down Fori Imperiali until we reach the Colosseum. On the walk we can see Caesar, Nerva, Augustos and Trajan’s Forum, lit up beautifully at night.

Rome comes alive by night - The beauty of the city all lit up (by lighting and moonlight). Our guide was very knowledgeable so we learned so much more than going out on our own

Great experience - If you want to know more about the essentials of Rome without getting too hot, this is the tour to book. The city of Rome is even more beautiful with the illuminated monuments. Our Guide, Vlad, was really friendly and really interesting. I had a great time and discovered a lot about Rome. Thanks to him!

Wonderful way to spend an evening in Roma - What a wonderful way to spend an evening. Seeing the sights at night after having seen them in the daytime was fabulous. Dan, our guide, did a great job with the tour and his knowledge and command of the English language greatly enhanced the experience.

thank you for a great tour - Our tour guide was amazing I unfortunately forget her name but we toured with her 8/28 at 8:00 pm. My best friend and I are in Rome for the first time ever and booked a tour guide to help with the tourist sights. We were not expecting such a fun and informational tour but we would def book with carpe diem again.

Wonderful evening roaming Rome - We arrived to Rome that afternoon and we did the tour same night. Sharon our guide was wonderful. Very informative and patient with us taking pics and filling our water bottle. The tour itself was a great way to explore Rome walking without dealing with the heat and humidity. Make sure you get to two sizes where the meeting point is and try out the best tiramisu in town.

A nice walk exploring Rome at night - We got to Rome that afternoon and at night we did the tour. Sharon our guide was great! Lots of useful information and tips about Rome and its history. It was an easy walk discovering Rome and learning about it with ample time to take pictures and fill up our water bottles. Make sure to get early to the meeting point where two sizes Tiramisu store so you get to enjoy a yummy treat before your walk.
