Humbling experience - Seeing the Pope in person and only 8 feet away! The event (every Wednesday) is excellently organised and presented. Go even if you have a different faith or none.
Shortly after the audience, the band started playing but we had left the Square and could not regain entrance. Pity our Guide did not mention this extra attraction during her talk.

Overwhelming - Overwhelming experience- not sure the guided tour was needed basically just met you and walked you round to the queue and waited with you. We came straight of the night train and had luggage they were not knowledgeable about where to store this a very very kind young man who had accompanied his mother took our luggage as he was not going

My wish came true like Simeon - To see Pope Blessing everyone who was present there live. It is what I wished to experience for many years.

I recommend - In November 2024, I attended a papal hearing with guide Frederica. I am Brazilian and the guide spoke Spanish, but was very attentive to make me understand what I was talking. The participation of the guide is to make a brief explanation about the Vatican and put us in the places that are near where the pope passes in St. Peter's Square. Tickets to the papal audience are free, but you need to request the invitation at the Vatican City Hall and when you pay you don't have that job.

Tour scam - The audience With the Pope was excellent, because other tour operator gave me the ticket for free. From Viator, they just took my money and did nothing, no ticket and they could not be contacted. I think it was a scam.
