Great pasta making experience for families - awesome guide! - What a great tour! Kat (Katherine) was warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledge about not only the food of Italy but also the history and culture. She took us to neighborhood shop to taste and buy ingredients. She was kind and helpful as my family (teens - 14 and 19 and parents) made 2 different kinds of pasta and at local restaurant. We all agreed it was one of the highlights of our trip. I would love to come back and do a neighborhood food tour with her.

Great tour - Riccardo was our guide for our pasta making class and he was fantastic. We were a small group, and he made us feel very welcome. He answered all our questions, silly or not, and we learned a lot, even more than how to make pasta. The pasta was delicious, and he was excellent company. He also provided some recommendations for restaurants to try after our tour, and the ones we went to were fantastic. We had a great time - the tour stops were great, and so was Riccardo. Thank you!

Trastevere and pasta - fabulous - Davide was an excellent guide and great teacher. We had a fabulous time making and eating our pasta. The tour was really well organized, the stops and snacks along the way were great, and it was probably my teenaged daughter’s favourite thing we did in Rome.

Pasta Making Class - We had daily tours/activities during our week in Rome, and this experience was everyone's favorite! The visit to the neighborhood market was delicious and informative, and then it was off to make pasta (a great set-up- in the back area of a restaurant, with lots of space, and a bit more private). Our guide/chef was amazing, and he was just-the-right-amount-of-helpful with my 14 and 12 year-old boys (i.e., he showed them how to do it, but let them do it on their own). And , of course, we ate gelato at the end, even though we were stuffed. Our guide also gave us other recommendations for restaurants, coffee, etc.- overall, an amazing experience!

I can make my own pasta now, yeah! - I can make pasta now, yeah! Thank ypu so much Davide for share your great passion and not at least to be such a good trainer in preparation of pasta. I was wondering at the end how easy it is. But this is the Art of a very good trainer, to make things easy to have fun to learn. The visited places for the ingredients and having some taste tests and the wine, what a pleasure. At the end we were eating in this wonderful restaurant our self made pasta and had a good time together. Ever again, I recommend this tour to all who want to know more about italien cooking and the specialities of Rome.

LOVED this class - I LOVED this tour & class. So much of getting pasta “right” is the feel that I cannot pick up from a book. Davide was a fantastic teacher, the pasta was SO delicious and Trastevere is a delightful area. I cannot recommend the Eating Europe tours enough! This will be a must do in any new cities.

Wonderful neighborhood, charming food guide and great pasta making experience! - We totally enjoyed our experience with Davide. Davide gave us a taste of the the local culture, shared some delicious meats, cheeses and wine. Then he showed us how to make great pasta. And of course we got to eat what we made. It really helped me appreciate freshly made pasta. We topped it off with some gelato of course! It was one of the best experiences on our trip to Rome.

A fun and complete class to learn pasta making. - The pasta making class held at Rione 13 was terrific! The instructor Davide is knowledgeable, friendly, and took his time with each of us, to make sure we had the hang of pasta making. The finished product was beyond delicious!

Highly Recommend - Highly Recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Ricardo! The food tasting part of the tour was great but the highlight was learning to make our own pasta. Ricardo was a great teacher, and he really made us all feel like experts. This was our third food tour with Eating Italy and they did not disappoint!

Pasta making with Davide - We had a wonderful evening of pasta making and visiting a market with Davide, who has incredible passion and knowledge of pasta. Davide needed to devise at the last minute a filling for the ravioli to account for a food allergy and the result was special and very delicious. We really appreciated all the information shared throughout the evening and learning new skills for pasta making.
