- Amalfi Coast - After Pompeii, it’s back onto the minibus for one of the most unforgettable drives of your life down the hairpin turns and panoramic vistas of the Amalfi coast. It won’t take long for you to see why this is considered Italy’s most scenic drive (although certainly not the easiest to navigate—you’ll be glad you have a professional driver!).
- Positano - Following in the footsteps of literary greats like Shelley, Goethe and Steinbeck, you’ll be free to explore this little town on foot, sampling its incredible seafood, browsing the fashionable boutiques, or ordering bespoke, handmade sandals.
- Rome - After a full day of exploring two of southern Italy’s greatest gems, you’ll head back onto the bus for a comfortable journey back to Rome.

Embark on a comprehensive day trip from Rome that includes visitation to two UNESCO heritage sites — the historic ruins of Pompeii and the pristine Amalfi Coast. Start the tour by stepping back in time and witnessing the grand remnants of Pompeii, a significant city from the days of ancient Rome. Following this, enjoy the splendid views of the Amalfi Coast and take an optional lunch break (not included in the tour price) in the quaint town of Positano. This exclusive small-size group tour is capped at 18 attendees for a more personalized and enriching experience.
- If you are traveling with a young child and need a car seat, please contact our Guest Experience department prior to your tour.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests with mobility impairments, wheelchairs or strollers on this tour.
- The town you visit will depend on the season and weather - Positano, Amalfi (town), or Sorrento.
- We encourage a swim on the beach in Positano during your free time should the weather be nice. If you are so inclined, please bring a bathing suit and towel.
- Should any part of this tour be closed, we may need to make modifications to the itinerary.
- During low season (November - March) most businesses including restaurants in Positano close, making the town a rather dull visit. During this time, we visit the town of Amalfi or Sorrento where ample choices for lunch and shopping abound.

Perfect intro to a world famous site. - Wonderful tour guide, perfect introduction to Pompeii and Positano. A bit rushed in Poistano another half hour would have helped. This tour did just what it was supposed to do.

Great Pompei and Positano trip - The trip was awesome. The guides Andrea and Mariana provided us with great information. Their shops and restaurants recommendations were spot on and that little Positano map they gave us very helpful. Highly recommend this trip!

This was a 10/10 experience - We have spent a great time in Pompei with our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend this trip to everyone interested in history
Positano and Amalfi Coast was worthy completely. The views are breathtaking and the limoncello was priceless

Excellent way to experience part of the Amalfi Coast - A full day but very worthwhile. We enjoyed stopping off in Pompeii and learning about its history from the local guide and John Paul was a very good guide for the day. Our time in Positano was great. We had time for lunch, a paddle in the water and a walk up to an excellent viewpoint, recommended by JP. Leonardo was a good driver who got us there and back safely in our mini bus. We liked the small group size too.

Worth It - Cosimo our tour guider and driver Alessandro were fantastic! Excellent tour, extremely engaging throughout the bus ride, with guidance, recommendations and lots more. We even made stops to take pictures of the beautiful view towards Positano, Amalfi Coast. Had lovely Anna tour us Pompei, very friendly and nicely detailed. We also had lots of recommendations from Cosimo about restaurants, received a good map. It was definitely worth it.

Loved ‘Walks’ Pompeii and Amalfi Coast day tour - Walks tours of Pompeii and Amalfi Coast. Brunella an excellent knowledge of Pompeii. Chiara an excellent tour guide and Sandro provided a good and comfortable drive. Amalfi Coast truly amazing and a must see. Small bus group a good way to do this tour. Time allocation at sites generous so not rushed. Highly recommended.

It was all worth it - Our family took the small tour. It was very informative. The heat and sun was a big factor when touring Pompeii, but the tour guide was so interesting and knowledgeable that we were able to handle it. Our driver was also great. I highly recommend for family like us who just want to see the place and not spend the night there
