Everything taken care of - Our tour guide PAULA took great care of us from start to finish. We thought she may even be a history professor. We recommend this 1st class tour.

High speed train to Pompeii + Herculeum=> treat yourself, you deserve it - The trip was very well organized and a not to miss adventure. We were met at the train station in Rome with clear directions. The high speed train git us to Naples in no time where we were greeted by our guide and transported to Pompeii. Felicia was AMAZING as a guide!!! Her graduate work in archeological restoration and years as a guide benefitted us so very much. Pompeii is a site to humble us; their technology in 79AD seems more advanced than today- without AI or electricity! The lunch was very good, and relaxed. The short trip to Herculeum gave us a view of what happened there when Vesuvius erupted. A good complement. Then back to the train station and then to Roma.

“Must do” day trip worthy of leaving Rome - Full disclosure - we visited in a torrential rainstorm. It added a bit to the experience, rumbling thunder kept us checking the volcano hadn’t woken up. Fascinating stuff, the contrast between Pompeii and Herculaneum was unexpected, so really pleased we saw both. Our guide was engaging and obviously knew her stuff! We were lucky to be in a small group of 7 so everyone had a chance to ask questions etc.

Exceptionally well organized and a fantastic guide - I left from Rome terminal after reading the very clear instructions to a meeting at a predetermined pickup point in the station. From that point onwards, everything worked like clockwork until I arrived back in rome at three end of the day. Or guide was also amazing. Not only was she clear and knowledgeable, she made the tour come alive. She was also thoughtful and considerate, given that the group ranged in age from children to senior adults.

This is the way to do it - Excellent tour. Very nice high speed train trip---smooth and comfortable. Pompeii and Herculaneum are similar but again very different in how they were preserved. Our guide Alda was very engaging and informative. Lunch was a very short walk from the gates of Pompeii and included wine, pizza or pasta and dessert. My only quibble was that I wish she would have had a bit more than an umbrella to let use know where she was. In the short period of time we met people we will remember for a long time to come. This makes for a long day but if you want to get the whole experience this is the way to do it.

Pompeii & Herculaneum - Pompeii and Herculaneum were extremely interesting sites to visit. Their history is so fascinating. Going by train to/from Naples saved a long bus ride. Although our guide was very nice, we would have liked more explanations to develop a greater understanding of why things were done the way they were. It was a small group and we had fun together. The coach ride vehicle from/to the two sites and the bus station was dated and not well maintained with lack of cleanliness, broken vents, etc. We expected a nicer and cleaner vehicle for the price.

Great combination tour for a big full-on day - The instructions where to meet were easy to follow. The train was comfortable and fast. Our guide had ok English, difficult to understand at times. Both sites were amazing and we got great information heard via the headset. It was a fast-paced tour and we were exhausted by the end of it. Lunch was more than expected and good. It was frustrating at the beginning of lunch when it was not explained what was included and the menu was in Italian for an English tour. The restaurant was a large place full of many tourist groups but reasonable. The bus transfers were comfortable.

A wet day at Pompeii - The ruins were amazing. My mind couldn’t fathom that far back in history. It is incredible the issue from that time in society were not that much different than today. Ou guide gave great insight and really knew her stuff. Lunch was so-so. Probably would have been a better experience if not for heavy rain most of the time. Guides were helpful with train transportation. Most of us would have been lost without them.

Mom broke bones and they didn’t allow us to cancel - The tour guide was nice but your customer service is weak. We spent until 3am the day of the tour in the hospital because my mom fell and broke 3 bones. I messaged them in the hospital and asked to cancel the tour. We had to show up because nobody got back to us for hours and my mom ended up sitting out on half the tours because your customer service team failed to respond appropriately to allow us to cancel the tour, and nobody wants to be out 500$ Now we are back in the hospital with them telling us she will need surgery because the bones in her foot are misaligned from the little walking she could do yesterday before sitting out. You guys put profit over your customers and will get an appropriately negative review, failed return customers and I will urge others not to use your tour services again.
