• St. Peter’s Square - The vibrant heart of Vatican City. This magnificent square, designed by Bernini, is where history, art, religion, and culture converge at the entrance of St. Peter’s Basilica.
• Via dei Coronari - A picturesque backstreet in downtown Rome, offering numerous charming spots for stunning photographs.
• Piazza Navona - Once known as Rome’s “good living room,” this square, adorned with three stunning fountains, including Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers, and two remarkable churches, is ideal for capturing both candid and posed shots.
• Pantheon - Facing Piazza della Rotonda, the Pantheon is one of Rome’s most remarkable and well-preserved ancient structures. Its Greek-inspired architecture combined with Roman style provides a stunning backdrop for wide shots, while its captivating interiors are perfect for warm, unique portraits.
• Basilica dei Santi XII Apostoli - A unique and surprisingly under-visited church. Its ancient crypt, adorned with old Roman frescoes and a mysterious ambiance, offers a serene setting for special portraits with a mystical touch.
• Complesso del Vittoriano - This monument, honoring Vittorio Emanuele II for Italy’s unification, is humorously known as “The Wedding Cake” by non-Italians and “The Typewriter” by Romans. Despite these nicknames, it offers a fantastic location for photos, especially from its terrace, which provides a stunning view over Rome.
• Via dei Fori Imperiali - One of Rome’s most scenic walks, this path runs alongside the ancient Roman Forums, with ruins on one side, the Trajan Markets on the other, and the Colosseum in the background. It’s a superb spot for capturing both posed and candid shots steeped in history and grandeur.
