Vatican tour with a fantastic guide. - We were met by our guide Sarah and from the outset she was very engaging and friendly and put us all at ease straight away . Sarah honestly is the best tour guide I could ever wish for, she was knowledgeable, informative taking the time to speak to everyone. I could honestly have spent all day in her company as she was a font of knowledge with nothing being too much of an issue for her . Sarah honestly conducted the best tour I’ve ever been on.

Well worth it!! - Well worth it!! Our guide was Sylvana I think. She was beyond amazing - we learnt so much stuff. To think that she sometimes does this twice a day, you would never know! She’s so full of life and clearly loves what she does!

Historian and Professor - Visiting Vatican City for the first time was an unforgettable experience, and that’s all thanks to our incredible tour guide, Amy. She was funny, personable, and unbelievably knowledgeable. I came in knowing very little about this historic place, but Amy’s passion and storytelling left me wanting to learn more—even doing my own research afterward! She shared insights I had never heard before, making every detail come to life in a way that felt fresh and engaging. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. In fact, I genuinely believe any other guide would have been a disappointment after experiencing Amy’s expertise. She delivered a 10/10 experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning—hopefully with her as our guide again! If you have the chance to tour Vatican City with Amy, do yourself a favor: take it. And don’t forget to leave her a generous tip—for the sake of her house in Tuscany, her cat, and, of course, her wine collection!

Fascinating tour of Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's - We did an early morning tour with Silvia. This was 3 hours of superbly detailed explanations of everything, from sculpture, to tapestry, to paintings, to mosaics... Absolutely fascinating and we learned so much more than if we has tried to navigate our way around on our own. The detail of the history regarding the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo was brilliant. Could not recommend this more as an excellent and insightful tour.

A good way to get a fast paced overview of the vatican highlights - Of course it's busy, but at least our guide (Amy) kept us moving - at the start it seemed a bit fast paced, but there's a reason for that - the place is huge. As it was our tour lasted 3 hours and we felt we'd only got a taster of the museums. The setup is good - Amy talks into a microphone and we all have earpieces so you can hear what she's saying even if you stop to look at something that catches your eye. That is much more effective than trying to all stay close enough together in the crowds. This was our first trip to the vatican and we felt we'd have an idea where we would go on our own if we wanted to come back again. Amy was cheerful and engaging - which you need on a three hour yomp!

Best guided tour! - Amy was by far the best tour guide we’ve had in any city. She was not just knowledgeable about the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica but she was funny, entertaining and made it such a memorable trip. I can’t recommend booking a tour with her. She will make your trip 100x better!

Christian the guide excellent. Astonishing place. Interesting family fun. Teenagers loved it - Christian, our guide, was so knowledgeable, amusing and helped enormously negotiating when the door to the basillica was unexpectedly closed. So informative and keen to answer questions with lots of amusing asides. Great guide and totally recommend this tour. Would have missed so much if had not gone with a guide so hugely enhanced the experience. So much to see and amazing place - descriptions do not do it justice The early start was worth it and the breakfast tour aspect great as meant missed most of the crowds and the food was surprisingly good. Recommend the pancakes and scrambled eggs!
