Jewish Ghetto - Paul was an amazing tour guide and I wish he could have done all of our tours in Rome. He has an immense knowledge of the multi culture history of Rome and he shared his love for Italy in his tour!! Jewish Ghetto Rome Roman Vacations - We really enjoyed The Tour of The Jewish Ghetto with Roman Vacations. We were thrilled with our guide , he was kind and really intelligent and patient. Our tour was comprised of couples and families and each person appeared really engaged. We travelled with our young adult son and each of us really took so much from our guides tour. We would definitely use them again , they provided an exemplary service that is exactly as outlined on their website and much more. The tour was filled will tons of sights from Roman Temples to Pagan ruins. The Jewish Ghetto was beautiful despite its innocent residents horrific abuse and murder , from the expulsions and mistreatment to the forced deportations and murder of innocent Jewish men , woman and children during the Holocaust. Their stories were told both factually and respectfully by our guide. There are also beautifully crafted brass floor tiles outside the homes commemorating the names and place of death of Jewish victims of the Nazis . This really is a highly recommended company and Tour as our guide did an incredible job on all levels. He covered this tour with breadth and scope and we are really thankful to have been on his tour. It was crazy hot in Rome and the complementary delicious gelato at a wonderful Gelateria in the heart of the Jewish Ghetto was a welcome and nice surprise. Thank you for a memorable day.

excellent tour. informative and interesting - Brian was excellent - knowledgeable, patient, charming - and very engaging! we had about 2.5 hours and covered the history of Jews in Rome from pre-Empire to post-Holocaust / recent.

Very informative guide who provided very detailed history of Jews in Italy and especially Rome - Very informative tour of Jewish history and walk through ghetto One suggestion would be include a tour of the synagogue in the ghetto which was not included

Jewish Ghetto must do tour. - Tour guide Brian, the complete guide informative, put the whole group at ease from the start, an "in-depth but quick" chat capturing the history of how the Jewish people arose in Rome, and the story of how they lived and worked among gentile Romans and the struggles then they faced when the laws changed. The tour moved effortlessly though the city with informative stops along the way, explaining more history with tasteful moments of humour. Entering the Jewish Ghetto already prepped with the mental pictures of how the hustle of the area would have been in its hey day, and the sorry mental images of the how the dark times would have looked. Finally embarking on the medicine island with amazing story of the hospital and it's courageous doctor that saved lives during WWii. Throughly enjoyable informative afternoon, would highly recommend, well done Brian, thanks for the ice cream. 🍦

Jewish Ghetto Walking Tour - The Tour Guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an unforgettable tour through the Ghetto. We stopped for delicious kosher gelato in middle of the tour. Would strongly recommend if you want to learn the history of Roman/Italian Jews.
