Daniel was friendly and... - Daniel was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed all the information he shared with us. It is worth the time we spent underground. The only disappointment was we couldn't take pictures.

100% recommend. Fascinating place! - What an amazing place and our guide Lorenzo was extra special. We learnt so much. 100% recommended this is the biggest catacomb with the most to see and only 15 mins away by a comfy minivan from the city centre.

we booked this as a last... - we booked this as a last minute thing due to the bad weather and it was a fabulous and interesting look at how people were burried in Roman times. Our guide was very knoweledgible and gave us some very interesting faacts- definaitly worth a visit

It was interesting and... - It was interesting and fun to see underground church and 2 levels of catacombs. Very few bones, not macabre. Equivalent of tombstones was most interesting. Group tour but turned out to only be 2 of us. Guide was informative as we drove there too.

The tour of the catacombs... - The tour of the catacombs was very interesting, we ended up having a private tour so the experience was very interactive with the guide as well. Mario the guide was very nice and funny and we enjoyed a lot.

Perfect way to see the catacombs in Rome, wonderful tour guide with in-depth knowledge - This was a great tour option to see the catacombs, without committing to a half day excursion. The meeting spot and check in procedures were seamless and easy to understand, and the tour guide was fantastic - gave in-depth historical information while keeping the tour engaging and interesting for our 11 year old son as well. You spend one hour in the catacombs of St Domatilla, and get a good understanding of the scale and scope of the catacombs, who used them, their purpose and historical significances. I'm so glad this was the tour we chose, it was perfect for our family, which included a 12 year old, myself and my husband, and his parents, in their late 70s.
