Perfect way to see the catacombs in Rome, wonderful tour guide with in-depth knowledge - This was a great tour option to see the catacombs, without committing to a half day excursion. The meeting spot and check in procedures were seamless and easy to understand, and the tour guide was fantastic - gave in-depth historical information while keeping the tour engaging and interesting for our 11 year old son as well. You spend one hour in the catacombs of St Domatilla, and get a good understanding of the scale and scope of the catacombs, who used them, their purpose and historical significances. I'm so glad this was the tour we chose, it was perfect for our family, which included a 12 year old, myself and my husband, and his parents, in their late 70s.

Best tour I have ever done...Great guide...Thank you! - One of the best tours I have done. Mario, the guide, was excellent and very knowledgeable. This tour is a must do for anyone visiting Rome.

Cool way to escape the crowds - Our guide was knowledgeable and provided interesting insights into the catacombs. The tour was just the right amount of time and enjoyed by teens as well as adults.

Exactly what we expected. Very informative. - Our tour guide Daniel was very good, especially since 4 out of the 6 in our tour dropped out as we started. Please don’t take this tour if you can’t walk far or walk steps. 1 person was also claustrophobic. Please read the description of this tour.
Daniel was great as our tour became a private your. His jokes were dad joke funny and he was very informative. We enjoyed it!

A great experience. - A great little introduction to the catacombs. The only thing I would suggest is that you review the air conditioning systems in your vans. It was unbearably hot in the transport to the catacombs with 10 or so people crammed into a van in searing heat and the air conditioning barely registering.

Mario, our guide was... - Mario, our guide was amazing! To see the stories of the souls that were buried there was incredible. We saw a small part of the vast catacombs as Mario pointed out. More sites to discover in this special place to be discovered.
