The Park of the Aqueducts is a sprawling green space of 240ha nestled in the southwest pocket of Rome. It derives its name from the 7 aqueducts which once served ancient Rome, some of which are still standing prominently, such as the Claudio, Anio Novus, and Felice aqueducts, either on or under the park’s grounds.

The park is also home to the ruins of ancient Roman villines like the Villa dei Sette Bassi and Villa delle Vignacce. It also boasts the medieval ‘Fiscal’ tower and a cemetery referred to as ‘the Hundred Steps Tomb’.

As you navigate the park, determined by the day’s lighting, a guide will be there to unravel the park’s history and share some insightful anecdotes.
