Excellent value - Very convenient , informative, and inexpensive way to "preview" Rome and plan our individual tours during the following days of our holiday.

OK Service, but very rude ticket takers on the bus - The buses are OK. They issue you a pair of earbuds that you plug in so you can listen to the tour in your preferred language. All of the buses seemed to have free wifi and one bus even had USB ports for passengers. I give great credit to the drivers' skills as they were able to navigate the congestion, construction and some very narrow passages successfully. The only downside was it seemed the ticket takers were universally rude to passengers. We had no problems, but witnessed the ticket taker on the bus yelling at passengers when the passenger didn't understand what the ticket taker said. They closed the bus door to move up at one stop, but the passengers waiting to board didn't know they were just moving the bus up. She banged on the bus door. When the bus stopped a few feet up (the bus moved up past the posted pick up point, because there were police cars parked at the bus stop), the ticket taker yelled at the passenger for a few minutes in front of a full-bus of passengers before letting her board. It was late in the day. I'm pretty sure the passenger was worried the bus was going to leave without her and she'd have to find another way back to her start point. Also, be aware that even though it says the bus stops at a main attraction, it doesn't usually stop right at the attraction. Be prepared to walk a half mile to the actual attraction.

not open roof, can’t see much. - They don’t open the roof of the buses even if it’s a sunny day and not raining at all, so you can’t see much. it’s no different from being in a normal bus, not worth saving 3 euros, better go to another company.

DONT USE THIS HOP OFF HOP ON BUS WHEN IN ROME - Was taking a tour with friends who have 2 small children. Took the bus from Roma Termini and we were allowed to carry inside the bus the baby stroller and 1 hand carry luggage on board. When we reached Colosseum, we decided to go down to take some photos and stayed for a few hours admiring the said place. When it was time for us to continue the tour, we waited for the next bus at the bus stop of Colosseum. Upon boarding the bus, we were told that we cannot get in since we were carrying a small hand carried luggage. The lady staff was so stubborn that she was trying to push us out of the bus. She even threatened us to call the police and we told her go ahead. We insisted on our right and we told the lady staff that the staff on the first bus should have told us ahead of time so that we’re aware of it and we could have done something. We tried to get her name but she refused to give it to us. This incident spoiled our day totally.

Visit Rome by bus - Bad experience , too much time stopped and you get headphones but nobody tells you anything. Wasted money. Rome must be seen on foot.

極為糟糕 - The poor and disorderly management method allows tourists to compete for seats according to their abilities, while the on-board staff are useless and seem to only know how to sell tickets to make money. There are no personnel stationed at each boarding point to maintain order. Passengers waiting for the bus did not know how to queue, and the situation was chaotic. It is strongly recommended that orderly or rule-abiding travelers give up choosing this lousy company, otherwise they will just spend their money and suffer.

Unfortunately not recommended! - There were far too few buses . Audio guide out of sync with the locations. Constantly annoying music instead of info. It was only a short part of the route , we were always driven in circles around Termini and Tritonbrunnen. Why they didn't ride the whole tour remains a mystery to me. At the Hop on Hop of Bus I want to see everything on the schedule , after over an hour always in the same area was then over at the Termini station with the statement that for now there is a 25 minute break. I would do a ride again next time, but by no means with IOBus. Too bad about our money and our precious time.

IOBUS IN NO WAY - We had bad weather in Rome and used "hop on hop off". The bus was crammed and you had to sit up where the sides were open. The seats were already wet, were not even dried and it rained so much that we were completely through after 2 minutes. We also got everything that was on the tarpaulin. So the day had run before it started. I definitely do not recommend IOBUS. Making money at the expense of the payers. The second tour with IOBUS was also lousy. It went in everywhere. It was cold and wet. The wet seats were not made dry. IOBUS doesn't actually get a point.

Very disappointing and stressful - Stop 6 could not be found. Various people looking. There was a group gathered. All numbered. We walked from hot to her. Buses drove by. No one stopped, no one indicated where the pick-up point should be. Eventually a lady from a kiosk told us that we had to go back 2 bridges and then ask again. Pfffff...a lot of stress, a lot of lost time. In addition, the tour was disappointing.

ughhhhh - This was one of the most disorganized and random experiences we’ve had. The boarding process was haphazard at best, the bus kept stopping at different points and the “lines” didn’t matter. It was a free for all to board. The intercom system was horrible, no explanation of any points of interest and music played 90 percent of the time. No instruction was provided to explain how the tour or earpiece was to work. A fellow passenger showed us what to do. A very poor introduction to Rome.
