The cycle of San Matteo highlights Caravaggio’s pictorial language and the style that still distinguishes him today. - Ladispoli - Arrived on the coasts of Ladispoli, the place where the great Maestro Caravaggio landed and arrested, enjoy a fish brunch in a seaside restaurant set up with Caravaggesque reproductions of the artist Sergio Bonaface, after which he meets the second local guide to discover the places where Caravaggio spent his last hours following a daring escape by sea after a bloody duel. - Castello Palo Odescalchi - Stroll along the Lazio seafront to the place where the only bronze statue of Caravaggio stands, also the work of the artist Sergio Bonaface and then continue, by land or by beach (depending on the weather conditions) to the Odescalchi Castle in Palo Lazio, where Caravaggio found refuge. Return to Rome.
