Discover Rome’s timeless beauty in a fun and entertaining way with this 3-hour small-group bike tour. You can choose between a high quality e-bike or push bike. Ride through millennia of history and get a glimpse of what ancient Roman life was like. This small-group tour (no more than 8 people) offers a perfect opportunity for visitors that want to get most out of the city and it gives a great overview of Rome and its history.
- A minimum of 2 people per booking required
- A maximum of 8 people per booking
- Participants must know how to ride a bike
- Be aware that we do not enter monuments or sights due to time restrictions, waiting lines, closing days and entrance tickets. Our tours do take you to all the sights, but there are so many that we can only give you an overview.
- A release of liability form must be signed at the start of the tour
- Participants should dress according to the weather conditions
- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
- Children should be at least 12 years old and must be accompanied by an adult
- In the case of official/public celebrations and happenings in the city center of Rome, the organization reserves the right to substitute one or more of the included highlights with alternative ones.

A great tour if you are confident e-bike rider! - The tour was wonderful! Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We liked that we would stop at different locations to learn about them and take them in, we got to go into some locations to see what was talked about, etc. It was a good mix of riding, talking and going into things. We learned a lot, which allowed us to make some decisions about other things we would like to go to and see. You do have to be a confident bike rider since the streets are busy with traffic and pedestrians! But we had a lot of fun and learned a lot!

A must-do in Rom! - No better way to see Rome! We had an incredible time exploring the city with our fantastic guides, Marco and Julia. They took us to all the must-see spots, sharing fascinating insights and historical facts along the way. The e-bikes made it effortless to cover so much ground, allowing us to enjoy the city’s beauty without getting tired. The bikes were super easy to operate, even for beginners. If you want to experience Rome in a fun, efficient, and informative way, this tour is a must!

The e-bike tour is a great way to see all of the highlights in Rome!! - Our E-Bike tour with Marco was a highlight of our stay in Rome. Our ride got rescheduled due to rain. They were very flexible with the reschedule date and time. The ride itself hit all of the Rome highlights. Marco provided great commentary and fun tidbits regarding the history at each place we visited. He made the adventure a blast. My husband and I highly recommend. As a side note, I didn't have experience on an e-bike. They do a great job explaining everything you need to know to stay safe and enjoy the ride,

Lots of ground covered with a knowledge guide - Great way to get an overview of the city. We covered a lot of ground and the e-bikes made hills a breeze. The panoramic views were amazing. Marco was very knowledgeable about Rome’s history and getting around the busy city’s side streets to avoid congestion. Tip: if the traffic bothers you, schedule an early evening tour. Marco also had some great suggestions for where to eat the local food. We were especially impressed that they worked around our schedule to reschedule the tour based on bad weather.

Great way to cover the city sights - We were so happy with our e-bike tour since we only had one day in Rome. We spent the morning on our own seeing Colosseum and Trevi fountain, the the afternoon e-bike tour took us all over seeing most other sights we would not have been able to fit in. The bikes were in great shape and the headsets were comfortable. With the crazy driver s we considered ourselves lucky to all make it back alive! There were some scary moments passing through cars and crowds. But definitely recommend!

Knowledgeable, Interesting, Safe and Fun - Our experience was fantastic and our guide Leo was outstanding. Having only a few days in Rome we were looking for a way to hit the major sites efficiently. This was the first excursion we booked and I am glad we did. We were able to apply the learnings to the rest of our trip. What made it exceptional was Leo's understanding of the history of Rome and his ability to weave it into a narrative that kept everyone interested while navigating to views and city vistas that were generally away from the crowds. Our small group turned out to be just my wife and 14 year old son. Everyone handled their ebike with ease and given the hilly terrain appreciated the ebike power boost. We booked the 9:30 slot on a very sunny, hot day and having the ebike power support made a huge difference. We did not arrive to each site sweaty and dying of thirst Many friends said we were crazy to want to bike in Rome but my family is confident on a bike and our route never felt dangerous. As is normally the case when you are enjoying yourself the time flew by and we walked away so much better informed on the amazing city and its rich history. If you are confident on a bike do not hesitate to book. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for your passion for Rome.

Brilliant tour! - We had a private e-bike tour for our family of four. It was INCREDIBLE! Our tour guide was brilliant…he knows and understands the history in Rome so well and has a delightful way of explaining and teaching as you ride along. I couldn’t recommend Rex tours more! There is no better way to see Rome!

Fantastic experience! - We had such a wonderful time! Leo was so very knowledgeable and gracious with an engaging personality. We felt very safe on his E-bikes as we navigated Romes streets. Not only was he well versed in Rome history he also knew the hidden gems as well. This was a bonus for us as we enjoyed learning the behind the scenes stories of Roman people & their lives. Well done Leo!!
