A good value. - Taking the whole route the first day we arrived got us familiar with the top sites to see. We had scheduled tours but when one was cancelled at the last minute we negotiated around the city on our own and used the bus to shorten our walk and save money on taxi’s

Good way to get around the city - Saved us from excessive walking on a one day trip to Rome and Vatican city. We only walked 18000 steps and were able to see the important things.

Nice bus tour - Perfect for us. We enjoyed a ride all the way around the city in the air conditioned bus. Once we hopped off, we stayed off. This is not an interactive experience. The tour is prerecorded which was fine for us. If you want interactive or live tour guides select a different hop on off bus line. We saw a total of three to select from.

Broad tour, too much walking - Great tour, but drop off points were too far from attractions making it necessary to walk too much. I would have preferred a tour focusing on getting me closer to fewer Attractions.

Good but could have been better. - Great way to see the city. However the bus spent too long at some stops and the narrative on the headphones was basic. There was far too much awful synthesised music when they could have told you much more about this historic city. A bit disappointed.

Disappointing - We had to wait to long for buses, especially at the start stop. Once in the bus, we had to wait again 10 minutes each time before departure. Not enough buses!

Sadly Disappointing - Waiting for the bus today, 4 Greenline buses, 2 Big Bus, 2 IORome, 2 Pink Buses came and went, before ours arrived 25 minutes after we arrived at the stop. Yesterday we waited 30 minutes for a bus at the Vatican stop. The bus pulled up no where near the que resulting in a free for all, passengers pushing and getting irate with staff and each other. The full route takes 2 hours as buses sit ages at bus stops, so if using to get to a booked attraction plan in lots of extra time. I would definitley suggest using a different company.

Terrible - Red City Sightseeing Hop on Off bus Rome - We booked the City Sightseeing Rome hop on off bus for 48 hrs as we’ve previously used the same company in Amsterdam which was fantastic. The City sightseeing red Rome bus was the worse the pick up timings were extremely long we’ll beyond the 15 mins that they advertised on the brochure, the bus had excessive waiting time at some stops and none at others. Whilst we were waiting for the red City Sightseeing Rome bus we saw at least three of the other operators buses that were offering the same service, they were way more regular than the red City sightseeing buses. They Red City Sightseeing Rome bus company have way more operatives on the streets of Rome touting for tourists , one of their agents was very rude very unprofessional. If me and my family ever visit Rome again we would avoid this company like the plague as they are not delivering what they advertise they can’t have the same amount of buses that the other company’s must be running. We were in Rome from 22nd to 26th 2024.

Never show up at Stop #1 - We ended up not using City Sightseeing Rome, after 40 minutes they never showed up. Two other company's bus came twice in that period, so we ended up buying tickets at the location with another tour operator.

Every 15 mins you must be Joking - Just to be clear this is city sight seeing Roma hop on hop off (red bus) do not for one moment think that they run every 15 minutes. You start to get suspicious when it is the same driver and ticket checker every time you get on the bus. They should as a minimum have 4 busses what are the odds eh. We bought a 72 hr ticket with which you get a free night trip from the terminal. Problem getting to terminal waited 45 mins for bus to arrive good job we had accounted extra time to do something else or we would never have got there. We were fortunate in that we did get to the night bus early and claimed a seat, the poor devil s further back in the queue certainly did not get what they will have paid for. Again oversold with very upset passengers. If only a small proportion of staff involved in sales were involved in providing the service then customers would experience a far better sight seeing tour.The service is oversold and cannot accommodate the number of people trying to get on. It seems a bit of cut throat business in competitors blocking marked bus stops. People waiting and bus goes past and waits about 50 metres up the road but makes no attempt to advise those waiting and then scrutinises your ticket as if you are a criminal. From the number of competitors buses passing whilst waiting I think I would recommend the green line company based purely on the number of buses but have no idea of what their service is like, However definitely steer clear of City sight seeing Roma (red bus).
