Experience the finest of Rome on a four-hour cycling tour guided by a local. Ride across Rome and explore its historical landmarks, posh retail lanes, stunning churches, and fountains. The tour pathway offers a nostalgic sight of Rome’s key attractions, along with some concealed squares and narrow lanes less frequented by tourists. For a relaxed and genuine view of Rome, this tour is unmissable.
- You will cover an area of approximately 8,5 miles (14km). The difficulty level of the tour is leisure (or intermediate with a child seat or child extension mounted on the bicycle).
- Excepting infants of less than 12 months (who cannot take part in the tour), there is no age minimum or maximum - this tour is suitable for everyone as long as you can ride a bike!
- Infants aged 1-4 years travelling on a child seat (with load capacity of up to 55 lbs or 25 kg) come on the tour free of charge
- For children aged 5-8 years a child extension (child streamliner) is provided.
- Children aged 9 and above can autonomously ride on an appropriately sized E-bike.
- All participants in the tour are required to wear a helmet (provided for free).
- Are the tours safe? The answer is: Absolutely! The tours follow carefully planned routes which have limited access to traffic, and some have no traffic at all, meaning you are able to enjoy your ride around the city in total relaxation and safety and you won’t have to worry about traffic.
- Minimum of 4 participants applies (total number of participants on tour). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are only 3 passengers (or less) on the tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative for your tour or full refund.
- Please note: In the event of official/public celebrations and happenings in the city center of Rome, the company reserves the right to substitute one or more of the included highlights with alternative ones.

Family of four of mixed ability cycling - Thank you for a fantastic tour. Bita (our guide) was superb. The pace of the tour was spot on. We navigated all the major sites and taken to hidden gems too. I would highly recommend.

Great way to see Rome - We were a family of 4.The bikes were excellent. Our guide Ghaza was an architecture masters student and was very knowledgeable. It was lots of fun. We saw so many sites in over 4 hours. I would recommend this highly. Our young adult children also loved it.

The best bike tour ever - Of the many bike tours we have done across Europe, this was the absolute best. The shop has a wonderful vibe and is very organized. The e-bikes are top of the line. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The tour itself was excellent and our guide MariaChristina was amazing…very knowledgeable and down to earth!

Perfect start to Rome holiday - The perfect way to start in Rome and take in the sites.
Guide (Sina) was excellent and navigated our way through the city with ease.
Would recommend to anyone holidays in Rome as a great way to get your bearings on where all the sites are.

Don’t miss this tour if you have teens - Today my family of 4 did the Rome City Small Group tour today with Valerio. This was our 17 year old son and 19 year old daughter’s absolute favorite part of the time we have spent in Rome. Our tour was schedule June 2 and that morning we woke up to rain and moved the tour to the last leg of our trip when we knew we would be back in Rome. Today was a perfect ride. The weather was excellent, the guide was the best we have had during our month traveling around Italy. Please don’t miss this tour! We stopped briefly at several fantastic sites and got a readers digest version of the history of the site. Three or four of the sites we had stopped at had already been visited by our family earlier in our trip and each and every one of those four sites required significant amounts of walking when we did the walking tour and it was absolutely exhausting so I highly recommend you do the Bike Tour first. Bike is the way to see Rome! Hope you get lucky enough to have Valerie!

The biggest benefit of our stay in Rome! - It was a great experience to cycle around with Guazalek (doubtful of the spelling) who took us around a lot of nice places around the city. She was so well read, had so much to tell and we felt so satisfied. My husband and I were joined by two other couples so it became an intimate small group which was very nice! Never thought that cycling would go so well in a city like Rome, but it went as well as it could!
