Cafe Roma and Colosseum Tour - Luigi was a great guide - friendly and knowledgeable - a former archeologist. We ran out of time to see the floor of the colosseum, but this tour is so worth it. Definitely get to the tour early to have a caffe and croissant at Cafe Roma…yum.

Outstanding presentation - Alessandro was an amazing guide. He was well-informed as an archaeologist and was able to explain information in terms that we were able to understand. His use of an IPad to show how the Colosseum and Forum looked in ancient times enhanced our understanding. He was also very entertaining and passionate in his presentation.

Experience of a lifetime, would strongly recommend! - Our guide, Siriki, was wonderful. He was very informative, and very patient with the group as we struggled with the heat - he even went out of his way to find shady spots for us to stand/sit as he explained our surroundings! He had a great sense of humour as well, and took the time to get to know each member of the group. My daughter and I learned so much about the colosseum, the Roman forum, and Rome itself thanks to Siriki :) I would recommend him/this experience to my friends in a heartbeat!

Another Great Experience with Eyes of Rome - We have used Eyes of Rome in the past and been very pleased with the service. They do a very good job with communication before the tour, the prices are competitive and their guides are fantastic. Our trip this August was no different, they were great again. My family really enjoys hearing from experts when we use private guides and everybody we’ve used from Eyes of Rome is an expert. For example, two of our tours this year were with archeologists that either did or currently teach at the University of Rome. In fact, one of our guides had actually done archeological work on a site we visited with them. We did a total of five tours this trip, it worked great for my father. The weather was very hot this August and having a car pick us up and drop us off at the site is really helpful for an older parent. We visited Ostia, Tivoli, the Vatican, an underground Rome tour and the forum tour. Every tour exceeded our expectations. Our guides this visit are listed below and each were great. We have never used any of these guides before but as in the past Eyes of Rome did a great job connecting us with the right guide for the tour we were doing. Again, we highly recommend Eyes of Rome and look forward to working with them in the future. Our Guides Simone Eleonora Gianluca Marco

Excellent storytelling and - Irene was such a great host! She was thoughtful about making sure we stayed in the shade while she told us about the locations (it was so hot!) and she really knew her history! Our kids loved it too. Thank you Irene!

Coliseum and Roman forum - Irene was very knowledgeable and kept our teens engaged. She answered all my sons questions and kept us moving at a reasonable pace in the extreme heat.

Great tour and guide - Our guide Valentine was great . My son and wife had many questions on the Colosseum for her and she answered them all. She also guided us through the Forum and showed us the way to Palatine Hill. We all had a good experience.
