- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- ID may be required for entrance (especially for guests under the age of 18). Guests who show up without ID cannot be guaranteed entrance.
- It is forbidden to bring inside the Colosseum: glass, sharped objects, alcohol, spray
- Comfortable shoes are recommended
- In July and August due to the heat the duration of the visit is 2 hours and a half
- Upon choosing our guided tour, you acknowledge and accept that the admission fee to the archaeological sites is 16 euros for adults, accompanied by a 2 EUR booking fee, and free admission ticket for children under 18. The remaining amount is voluntary and includes services provided by skilled licensed guides, headsets, booking fees, and other tour amenities. Our goal is to provide transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown, allowing you to fully recognize the value of our guided experience.

Meet us at Largo Gaetana Agnesi, the square located on the terrace ABOVE the Colosseum Metro Station. Our staff will be wearing purple T-shirts at the center of the square, in the raised area. (Please note: if you are in front of the Metro Station, please make your way UPSTAIRS.)

Fabulous tour - Our guide (I’m so sorry if I have not spelt this correctly) Dominio was fantastic he was vibrant very friendly and gave us such a great experience, his knowledge was wonderful and took us to all the best spots to take photos, he gave us all the facts and answered all our many questions without droning on as some do, and to top it off told us the best place to get authentic pasta (which we visited after) Thankyou so much you made our day

Fantastic tour with Giulio - Our guide Giulio (Italian Johnny Depp) was absolutely fantastic. He has an archeological background which meant that he could share a plethora of knowledge about each and every place that we stopped. The locations were astonishing, would 100% recommend this tour.

Great guide smooth operation - Very impressive tour with lots of details. I don't know how you can learn everything without a guide. Our guide was very knowledgeable and got us through the crowds comfortably.

colosseum - Our tour guide Felice was great , had a passion in explaining every detail and any question. Very knowledgeable and funny at the same. Also gave great tips. Definitely recommend this tour and hopefully you get Felice as your guide

Joyfull tour and spectacular - Eugenio was our guide. He was so active and explained verry well the details of the colosseum and thr roman forum. He was funny and it was with clear eyes that e explained not because "work" but because he likes doing what he is doing, he does it with passion. Great guy, great tour. 10/10

Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Forum Tour - The tour was money well spent, the whole process from booking to joining the tour was very easy with excellent communication from the tour company throughout.
Daniel our tour guide was an impressive source of information and was engaging throughout the tour. The pace of the tour was good and suited all participants.
I would highly recommend Crown Tours to anyone interested in the history of Rome and in particular the Colosseum. Five stars for sure

The tour was OK (not the... - The tour was OK (not the best, not the worst), probably specifically due to the guide we got. The information provided was not as interesting as the one we got on other tours, and we didn’t get to do a guided visit of the mount palatin (I think due to time restrictions), but generally speaking, I would still recommend this tour. It was well organized.
