Prioritise this tour! - Absolutely fantastic tour, the best of many during our two week trip! Natasha was brilliant, she knew the insider places to go and the locals who produce the highest quality food. Everything was absolutely delicious. Wine was plentiful and it was really great to spend time with the whole group. This food and wine tour also turned into the most informative historical tour, which was an unexpected bonus. Don’t miss this one!

Amazing tour guide and experience - Natasha was an amazing tour guide! She was full of historical knowledge as well as sharing her own experience. The food was all incredible and this was one of the highlights of our entire Italy vacation. We did this tour on a rainy day and Natasha was very accommodating to make sure that most our stops had indoor seating. This really improved the experience so we were not soaked in the rain while enjoying the delicious food. 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone wanting a unique experience in Rome and not just 'another tour'. Thank you, Natasha!

A++ Rome Food Tour : A MUST -DO!! - We had the BEST time on our Rome food tour with Luca. Was more like a party than a tour. Lots of amazing food and wine, interesting history, especially about the Jewish Ghetto and FUN. We were a group of three unacquainted couples plus Luca but by the end of the evening we were like “family". A definite MUST-DO if you're visiting Rome. Thanks again Luca.

A tour that helped our choices for the rest of the trip! - We had an absolute blast eating our way around Rome with Camila. Each stop was informative and owned by a family business that had been around for years! The tour had the perfect balance of information on food, historical, and local information. As for Camila, she was friendly, curious, and energetic which made the experience that much better. And on top of that, they provided so many great tips after the tour! This was definitely a highlight for us in our trip! Grazie Camila!

Trastevere Food Tour - Natasha was excellent, very knowledgeable, answered a lot of additional tourist questions and really explained in detail the food we sampled. The walk was very doable and I learned of places I need to revisit in length tomorrow. We visited 5 places cheese and meats, pizza, fried rice balls in the Jewish Ghetto, spaghetti and some appetizers and then gelato. Met some great people. We didn’t need to eat dinner! Thank you Natsha.

Buy Beware. The tour guide can make or break this tour. - I took some friends this tour 2 weeks ago and we had an exceptional guide, Luca. Luca took us to a different restaurant for the main course. He was personable and knowledgeable. This time we had a guide Lily. Unfortunately she was terrible. I couldn't tell if Lily was unprofessional or if she lacked knowledge. She really didn't talk about the area or the food to any extent. I wish I could ask for my money back. There were 12 in our group. Lily told us about how she loved Trestavere, she lived there. She went about how the shopping was great, etc. We started the tour. She rarely talked about the history of the area. We went to a Salsamentera that had been in the family for decades and all she talked about, briefly, was the cheese. The place was amazing, we all wanted to learn more! She was either ignorant of Jewish history or didn't want to comment as there was rarely any comment about the Jewish history in the ghetto. I was very disappointed. This is a part of Rome's culture and especially for the Jewish Ghetto in WWII. Very poor for a tour guide. Grade F. The Portico of Octavia wasn't mentioned. Then we crossed the Tiber River. Lily commented again, about the great shopping, but took us down dark vacant alleys to the restaurant. This was totally unproductive time. We wanted to see the energy of Trestavere. The restaurant, Ristorante Sette Oche in Altalena, was a disaster. We were taken into the bowels of the restaurant, down 2 flights of stairs, then packed into one table, so tight, a couple of people were could hardly eat. This was crazy, as we were the only group down there, with several tables available so it would have been very possible for our group to spread out a little. It was desperately hot and had no ventilation in this underground area. The food was only fair at best. Seriously, I know Trestavere has some great food. This was not great, it doesn't even qualify for good. It was fair. The house wine was fair to poor. Where was Lily? Who knows! She left during our meal and said she'd be back. About 15-20 minutes later, when we were all about to expire, she showed up. This tour was a dismal failure, in large part due to a poor tour guide.
