A must tour for foodies in Rome. - Great food tour in the local areas away from all the tourist. “Fede”was an outstanding tour guide. The Jewish ghetto was the highlight.

Lovely food with history - Lovely little guided tour guided by the wonderful Isabella. We visited some old family run restaurants. Ate fine cheese and tasted lovely wine. We were full by the end of the tour. Isabella was extremely sweet and explained everything well. We also got to explore the old Jewish part of the city. Recommend this tour surely.

Luca is very good! - Luca was the guide and was very good. Most of the other guests were alot of fun as well. Luca gave us lots of history pertinent to the areas we visited. The Jewish Ghetto is heartbreaking. The food overall was ok. It may just be a matter of taste, but the suppli (very mushy with a strong cheese taste), fried artichokes ( one guy said, here does anyone want my thistle) wine (extremely dry) and cacio e pepe (holy salt and overbearing cheese smell and taste) were not to my taste. The cold cuts and cheese were good, but very salty, except the fresh mozzarella that was outstanding. The fresh stratchiatella was also delicious. The bruscetta was ok as the tomato mixture on top was very bland but tasted fresh. The salted Carmel Gelato was special. Very very good, excellent. One woman on the tour looked at me and said " do you know how much butter fat is in that?" SO, there's always one, and an American too. Luca did his best with the very late arrival of some of these guests as well as their rude and flip comments. He handled himself like the professional that he is. I did buy 3 little cans of olive oil from the salumeria, and the cans were oily so that the labels then came off. I had to throw them away as I can't travel with things that are messy or may be leaking. Thank you Luca! 5 stars for you. The rest gets a 3 tops.

Take this tour if you want the real Roman food - Our tour guide, Federica, was great and our group had an amazing time trying the Roman foods. We went to the authentic Roman restaurants and they were all great. And the finale was the best gelato.

Great tour and tour guide - The tour and the guide were fantastic. A 5. But two different text messages from Viator had links to different locations. Unfortunately I went to the further location which dropped me at the end point of the tour. I had to run back and now was late.

Good variety of food tastings - Our tour guide gave us plenty of historical food insight. I thought the food locations were too close together. I was still digesting my samples when we reached the next tasting.
