Your tour guide, a local food lover from Rome, has personally selected her top eateries for Roman snacks in the historical heart of the city. Embark on an enticing food journey across the River Tiber at the captivating time of dusk. Marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views as you halt at some of Rome’s most scenic destinations. Relish the finest food the city presents while basking in serene piazzas, hidden alleyways, and charming riverside walks.
Enjoy an assortment of local dishes as vast as they are distinct. You’ll experience: suppli, calzone and pizza, pasta to share (cacio e pepe, carbonara or amatriciana), parmigiana, arrosticini and bruschetta, filetto baccalà, salami with a small glass of wine, ciambellina al vino, tiramisù, coffee, and limoncello.

Excellent Tour That Was The Highlight Of Our Trip To Rome Because Of Our Guide Roberta - This was by far the highlight of our trip to Rome. (And we did most of the typical things, including several other tours, one of which was Vatican City.) The reason this tour was so much fun was more because of our guide, Roberta (or Robi) than it was because of the food itself. Don't get me wrong--the food was great, and there was more than enough of it. We couldn't even think about having dinner that night after all we ate during the tour. But it was really Robi who made the tour the highlight of our trip to Rome. She was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. At one point late in the tour she said something about how she hopes to make the tour more like a friend showing friends around Rome. Ordinarily I would consider that pretty corny, but in this case that really was a perfect and fitting description of this tour. I don't know if or when we will visit Rome again, but if we do, and if Robi is still giving this tour, we will definitely take it again.

It’s an absolute must! - An absolute must when you come to Rome - we tried food in some lovely family businesses, lots of amazing food - the tiramisu is fabulous! It’s a great way to spend a few hours. Our guide was super knowledgeable and gave lots of great tips of where not to eat during your stay !

A very memorable evening! - This was an amazing experience. Our guide picked some really great stops for the best panzerotti I have ever had, great salumiari shop with loads of different cured meats, two kinds of pasta, delicious tiramisu and it ended with great espresso! I don’t eat chocolate, so our guide bought me a gelato, artisanal, not the usual kind you find more often.
Unfortunately, I have forgotten her name, but I will say she was a superb guide!

A must tour to do - A fabulous tour of food, sooo much food, do not eat before doing this you get soo much. Roberto, Robbie, was a fountain of knowledge and took us to some amazing places. Totally worth the money, soo much fun 😁

Amazing food tour - a must-do - We absolutely loved this tour. Roberta and Genys were fantastic. The food was amazing, and we really appreciated hearing the stories about how it all tied into the culture of local Romans. All the places we visited were very hospitable and the portions were very big. We are so glad we did this and highly recommend it for a great time.

Great way to experience Rome - My teen daughter and I went on this tour with Francesco as our guide. We had such a good time walking through the streets of Rome, eating finger-linking good food, all the while learning some of the roman culture, not all related to food. We had 6 stops for food (and then some)... all worth it, places I would want to come back to. This tour gave us the opportunity to experience Rome like a local, with a local, in a small group, and we'll never forget it.

Grab your friends, get a feel for the city and try new foods - This is a great way to learn a little more about Italian cuisine and to get the best of the best in terms of food. We enjoyed our guide, Mattia. He seem to know everyone and was very knowledgeable about Italian food, How it is prepared, how to pair foods and more. this would be fun to do with other couples if you are traveling together. Just know that there is a lot of walking from place to place. You will not be at a table at every place, but you will eat delicious food. I have never seen so many restaurants, gelato shops, meat and cheese shops, Cafés, and pizza places. Having this tour helped us to get a feel for the city, stop in places we never would have and try things we never had before.

Fantastic! - Our tour with Francesco was wonderful! He’s very knowledgeable and had lots of fun facts. The food was abundant and wonderful! Don’t eat before this tour. You’ll enjoy every bite!
