Fun and tasty food tour. - This was so much fun and all the food was so good! Martina was an excellent guide. We enjoyed being in a part of Rome off the beaten path. It was nice to meet other travelers. We also appreciated the list of restaurants to try.

Yummy and fun - As a former food writer, I can only say brava to Stephanie and the company for this tour. It starts slowly but give it time and it develops into a lovely excursion for all levels of familiarity with the Italian food, with some great classics to taste along the way. Steph was an engaging, funny and elegant guide, which we also appreciated after a slog in the Colosseum the previous day. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful approach to things like toilets and water, important in a tour for all ages. We did it on the last of our three days in Rome but do consider doing it on the first, because you will get tips to eat well for the rest of the stay. Dishes ranged from classic pasta (excellently made) to tasting experiences like truffle honey etc. Wine was as good as one could hope for, considering the price of the tour, and at the risk of repeating myself the whole tour will probably save you money on food during your stay if you do it first thing. I personally almost never buy foods to take home, but if I did, I’d buy the artichokes in the first cafe. Bravo ragazzi!

Always ask for Stefania !!!!! - I can’t imagine a better tour. We were so nervous about reserving; however, Stefania did the most amazing job. She gave us history and provided fantastic detail. One of my children is extremely picky. He actually tried everything on this tour- his first time to try pasta!l at 12 years old! Definitely recommend her specifically if you take this tour. I don’t see how anyone could compare!

The best tour guide ever! - This was the best tour we’ve ever had. Ask for Stefania. I’m sure there are other good guides but I cannot imagine anyone being better than her. She is warm, funny, and exceptionally knowledgeable. She is former teacher and a good historian. We learned so much, enjoyed tons of delicious food and had a great time. We were all singing and dancing with her by the end of the tour. If you like Italian food, book this tour and ask for her - you won’t regret it!

comprehensive walking food tour of rome - super comprehensive food tour, covering markets, bakeries, restaurants, pizza, aperitivo and more! our guide was extremely well organized and clearly had strong relationships with her vendor. i would eliminate the cannoli in the first stop and substitute it with a roman baked good (people really didn’t care for it). i would also suggest the tour guide not so bluntly ask for tips since she “wasn’t working for two years”, was an uncomfortable interaction. all in all, i would recommend this tour!
