The amazing sites of Rome, the amazing three hours! - I needed my son to experience Rome in a way that he would appreciate it, not get bored of it, not get too tired, and learn something. This experience with Eugene absolutely nailed it. I cannot begin to express how perfect this tour was. I would highly recommend it!! Eugene was amazing!

Well worth it. - This trip was tremendous. Eduardo was great and catered the trip around what we had all ready seen and took us to different places. Stopped where we wanted and waiting as long as it took to take our pictures. Also he explained things at each stop. Really all and all well worth it. Even dropped us off at our hotel afterwards.

3 Hour Golf Cart Tour of Rome - Our driver/guide, Alex, was amazing. So much information and sites within 3 hours. This tour was exactly what we wanted - a general overview of the area with historical context. It was our first visit to Rome, so this 3 hour tour was perfect. We even stopped for local eats along the way at a small business in Trastevere (I think they were basically Italian rice balls, but there is an Italian name for them that I cannot remember) - and they were out of this world.

Great introduction to Rome! - My husband and I arrived in Rome in the morning, and thought this would be a good activity for our first afternoon. We were so pleased with the experience! Mario was our guide. Arrived on time at the meeting place with another guide in training, a lovely young woman from Maine. Mario’s English was great, and the sites we visited were pretty much in line with the tour’s “typical itinerary” as described on Trip Advisor. Mario made the experience even more fun by asking us “cash cab” type questions to help us remember some of the information he relayed. Mario also introduced us to great cappuccino at a local cafe, and amazing gelato at a local gelateria. He provided us tips on where to dine and what things should cost. I would highly recommend this tour, and ask for Mario when you book. A+++++

Not at all as expected for the price - The tour started 40 minutes late (we got there 30 minutes early) due to golf cart trouble. So after eating over a hour he showed up with an old, beat up cart. Missing one seat and duck taped tail lights. The tour was fine. Didn’t hit all the stops on the list but saw some others. We stopped for a drink, then coffee and then gelato but were told what to order and had to pay ourselves each time. Paying almost $900 (5 people) and a €3.50 gelato wasn’t included was strange but then to be told we had to order dark chocolate and either banana or pistachio gelato? Why don’t you pay if you’re dictating the flavors? Then at the end he was begging us for a tip. Wouldn’t recommend.

Great tour but tour ended far from where it started! - June 21 at 5 pm Guide Sophia We booked through Get a Guide for a 10:45 am tour, a few days before Eli from the company reached out and asked us if we wanted him to pick us up near our hotel, I said yes as long as it wasn’t extra, I told him where we were staying he said he couldn’t pick us up as it was out of the way. The next day he reached out and said he could pick us up near our hotel at Piazza Navona but at 5 pm. Because it’s been so hot we agreed. He told us the golf cart would be green. We were picked up by a Viators green cart by a lady named Sophia. The cart was at 47% battery when she arrived. We had a lovely tour. Sophia’s English is pretty good but not great! The tour was fantastic with many stops for photo opportunities. We saw the Parthenon, Trevi Fountain, Trastevere, Circus Maximus, Forum, Palatine Hill, Jewish Quarter, Spanish Steps, Borghese Gardens and the Coliseum! Zipping through Rome on a Golf Cart is something to behold! Sophia could and should have had a clipped on microphone and we should have had earphones so she could explain all the magical places we zipped past! Everything was wonderful until the car battery was at 4 % and she announced we were at the end of the tour AT THE COLOSSEUM! 3 km from where she picked us up! Yikes. I have a bad knee and getting a taxi in Rome at 8 pm is near impossible. An Uber would have cost us 40 EUR so we walked slowly back to Piazza Navona, had dinner and then back to our hotel near the Piazza! All in all a wonderful tour except for being dropped off at the Coliseum!

Stranded in Rome - We waited over an hour for the golf cart to show up but it didn't happen. Tried to contact the operator multiple times, no reply. Eventually got in touch with Viator who could not contact them either. Later in the day they got back to us and blamed Viator for not forwarding the booking?! Not sure who's fault it was but either way it was very poor. Only good thing is we got all our money back and realized that walking was not that big a deal. Spent the money on great food for 3 days which was a better way to spend it anyway. Them not showing up proved it wasn't worth it anyway. Viator customer service was good trying to resolve the issue.
