Great history of Rome - Nick was very informative and knowledgeable of Roman history. This tour not only pointed out the historic sites but also gave the background of how the sites came to be. We learned a lot of facts that we would not have gained in reading a plaque on a building. Be prepared for a lot of information and walking. Stopping for a gelato mid way was a great stop at an iconic gelato shop.

Piazza del Popolo and Historical Sights Walking Tour - This walking tour was a wonderful way to get oriented with historical Rome. Starting from the iconic Piazza del Popolo, it wound through charming back streets and highlighted not only the famous landmarks but also some of the lesser-known points of interest that you might otherwise miss. Our guide was excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and able to field a wide range of questions from the group. The combination of history, local insights, and hidden gems made the tour both informative and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great introduction to Rome and want to see a mix of well-known sights along with some off-the-beaten-path treasures, this tour is highly recommended.

Now we know how Rome wasn’t built in a day - Our tour guide was Justin and we couldn’t have been more pleased. He was able to take over 1000 years of history and distill it down to the most important and interesting facts. The 3 hours flew by and there was never a dull moment. Thank you Justin!

Definitely recommend!!! From a solo female traveler - If you want a chill and not so touristy feel tour wherein there are flags and signs everywhere that you are a tourist group, this tour is perfect. I like it because besides that Luccio is very knowledgeable of the placed and history, this tour feels like you are just a bunch of friends walking and hanging out. It’s informative, relaxed, and fun at the same time! Definitely recommended!!!

Wonderful walking tour! - Absolutely wonderful walking tour with Nick. He was so passionate about Roman history and incredibly knowledgeable. He kept our attention the whole time. I also appreciated that he walked us in the shade as much as he could on a smoldering summer day! My husband and I learned so much from this tour and would highly recommend it for anyone coming to Rome. We also got lucky and were in a small group and got to ask Nick many questions! He also gave us great non-touristy restaurant recommendations. Thanks for a great history lesson!!

Excellent! - Lucio was amazing at his work! He showed us the hidden areas, took us off the main touristy streets, and told us the interesting stories of Rome. He has a humourous approach to giving out information, which makes you remember things much better. Would definitely recommend and will do this again!

- We had such a great time! Our tour guide taught us a lot about Rome's history that stuck with us for the rest of our time in our trip. He also showed us some very cool things about the city from the perspective of a local. Would absolutely recommend this walking tour!

- NICK IS THE BESTTTTT! I'm glad I ended up finding this tour. He's super passionate about the entire Roman history and makes you feel that you're part of the entire story. A graduate of History Classics from University of Edinburgh, he's been doing this for the past 10 years but still makes it feel that it's fresh and new. Someone who's scrolling through the platform, confused which tour to book - BOOK THIS ONE ASAP. You just won't regret it. I wish to be back in Rome in future with my family and would love to book Nick again for this again.
