Small Group Tours for the win! - We did the small groups combo tour. It was a bit confusing and hard to identify where to meet and which specific tour we were with but once that got worked out, everything was so awesome. Our Colosseum guide, Flavia was incredible. So informative and had passion behind her speaking on various points of the history. Even getting hit with a hard rainstorm she kept patience and composure and we were able to complete. The Vatican museum/Sistine Chapel was another guide and his style was much different than the first. Once we got through the main entrance and had an opportunity to break away from the crowds, I could tell he could have spoke for hours on the pieces and history. So happy we went with this choice, I highly recommend.

Vatican and colosseum tour - We had a tour of the Vatican in the morning and was shown round by Davide, he spoke for over 3 hours on the history of the place and the artwork, as well as plenty of stories on the characters that created it all. We then had to get across the city to the colosseum and happened to get on the same metro train as Davide and he told us to follow him as he knew where we needed to go, by luck Davide was our guide around the colosseum and he talked just as brilliantly for the tour of the colosseum giving plenty of information, answering all questions about all topics, we had a really great day thanks to him

Fantastic Experience at the Colosseum!! - For our Colosseum tour, we were accompanied by the amazing guide Dennis. He was incredibly engaging and it was obvious that he is truly passionate in delivering every single piece of information to us. We got into the Colosseum through the tour groups entrance and got to enjoy some of the limited access areas that aren’t available to the public, which was a real treat without the crowds. Furthermore, it was an absolute pleasure to learn about the Roman Empire and history of Rome from Dennis, who genuinely cares about the subject as a whole and is interested in passing on his knowledge to others. I can’t recommend this tour enough! Thank you for helping us fall in love with Rome more than we already have !!

Average - Poorly organized by Trip Advisor, who didn’t confirm my booking with the tour group running the tour. And couldn’t fit me in on the day I paid for. Ended up doing this at other times. Tour seemed rushed and started late. Not ideal and missed out on a proper tour of the Vatican

Combo is confusing - This is two separate tours wrapped in one, in the sense that they are completely disconnected from each other and most of the people in the first half will not be with you on the second half. The guide for the Colosseum portion didn't know anything the Vatican portion, so you are on your own in getting information for the second half. I had to reach out to confirm where to meet and when and was able to share that with the other people on the tour who had the combo ticket. It probably would have been best to start with the Vatican; that portion was in the afternoon, by which time it was so crowded that it felt like you were just being swept along by the crowd. There was no time to enjoy the beautiful artifacts in the museum or even get a good look at the Sistine Chapel. We got to the Sistine Chapel about 5 minutes before it closed so we had to rush to get in there and then were rushed out. The process of getting to the museum from the agency was crazy and we had to run through traffic to keep up with our guide. Both guides were good and knowledgeable. It was nice to have the headsets on each portion, although the Vatican portion didn't have a long range so if we got separated by a crowd (constantly), the radio would cut out and we would lose the commentary. If I were to do it again, I would probably book both tours separately and spend a day at each location. It was very expensive for what you get, although you do get exactly what was advertised.

Very informative but started 1.5 hours late. - Very informative & organized but started 1.5 hours later without explanation which ultimately led to our having to miss St Peters because it closed before we were done.

Rushing through Rome - The tour was rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance which caused some hassle but even worse was the fact that we had to rush from Vatican to Colosseum all by ourselves. This gave us almost no time to enjoy St Peter’s Cathedral (around 5 mins), no time to go up it to see the view from the top, and absolutely no time to at least have a snack between the two tours (3 hours long each). The guides themselves were very professional, though the Vatican guide was provided by the Vatican rather than the company. I would not recommend this tour if don’t like to rush. Also, the second group (Colosseum) had 29 people which is more than stated in the tour description (24), so a lot of time was wasted on group management. The title says small group but this definitely did not feel like a personal experience.

Avoid combos - I booked a combo but it was impossible to made both in one day. I booked with the security that an agency or tour will do it both. However, there were two separate entities and the time between the tours not enough. Therefore, we did the 1st part, the Colosseum (was great) but when we asked were to go for the next we were informed their responsibility ends with that tour. Not knowing the city and being instructed that we have to take to metros and only 20 minutes left, we decided that it was not possible for us. So we lost our money for Vatican and Sistine Chapel.

Disappointed - Poorly ran company. Disrespectful staff. If you are in the service industry youbhave care for your customers and provide a good service. They get your money and run.
