Photos to treasure for years to come - Marco was a kind, patient instructor who knew all the best locations around the city. He helped me understand my camera, loaned me his tri-pod and helped me capture stunning images.

Amazing locations at night - Marco was awesome and very experienced! My wife and I did not have professional cameras and just used our iphone/android cameras in Marco's special spots. We were noobies compared to our other group member but we were still able to learn a lot and capture some amazing views. Whether you are experienced in photography or not, this night tour amazing since there weren't as many people around. It helped us enjoy our collosseum tour the next day since we didn't have to take as many photos!

Great photo tour with an expert - A great experience and communication from our guide. He provided great tips on composition, lighting, depth of field, rule of thirds and other key concepts. We walked and drove to some very photogenic spots and Marco provided individual attention to make sure that everyone was able to capture some extraordinary shots.

A truly enriching experience - Unique perspective of Rome. I´ve been to Rome several times, but never seen it at night. Marco was a good teacher and we learnt a lot about composition, perspective, camera techniques, and what not to do.

Starting night photography with a maestro made my stay in Rome a memorable one - Marco guided me around Rome finding hidden gem destinations. I booked this specific small group program in advance because I am interested in landscape photography. And Marco has been a widely acclaimed and experienced professional. As a tourist first time in Rome, this is a fantastic tour enjoying the night scens! As amateur in photography, I know I am in the right hands! During the tour, Marco demonstrated tips for night photography according to various conditions. More over, the magic about composition of the photo! Marco guided me step by step for choosing the particular site, elements, settings of camera. He also shared how to master photography schedule and notes (like sunset time, directions of the sun). Tourists like me might pass through those attractions in the day, but the night scene is even much more fascinating and less crowded. The 4 hour tour with master and a friend like Marco is the best part of my stay in Rome. He's been super helpful and considerate. Thank you, Marco!

Night time photography class - If you book for midsummer the tour starts at 8:45 and went to 1 am, just for planning purposes as you need it to be dark for night photos. We learned a lot about our cameras. I felt those with iPhones were a bit bored as we spent so much time at each stop. We didn’t go to the colesseum which was disappointing as our group and the other half had both asked about it, and we were near it. Marco is very passionate about photography and gave us lots of lessons. I felt sometimes he focused a bit more on us listening than letting us take the photo and experiment to learn ourselves. But overall we had a fun, long night. We are continuing to use these photo tips as we continue our journey in Europe!

Safety concerns and value for your money concerns. Priority is not about making the customer happy. - If you do a night tour, bring insect repellent and a light source. If you use your cell phone for pictures, it’s inconvenient to also use it for your pictures. You are taken to many dark sidewalks with no/little lighting. The description is false advertising. We said one of our priorities was the Trevi Fountain, and he wouldn’t take us because it wasn’t interesting enough. His profile is correct. He is a professional photographer and is not interested in making the customer happy with their significant purchase of a 4-5 hour primarily walking tour late at night in Rome. There were severe dangerous locations to be in with a small group of two with a stranger.
