The Tribe in Rome - This was an amazing tour. We were able to customize it to see all of the attractions we selected. Coliseum, circus Maximus, Trevi fountain, a private guided tour of the Sistine chapel and Vatican. Our drivers went above and beyond to show us everything and even called ahead to order our lunch so we could gain extra time. We will definitely be back and book again!

Highly recommend this tour especially with Sal! - Our tour guide, Sal, was extremely knowledgeable and his energy for this amazing city was absorbed by our entire family. We can not rate Sal as a private tour guide high enough! The places visited were extremely busy, but we were thankful Sal could negate through the craziness and get us where we needed when we needed. Sal showed us parts of the city we didn’t know existed and we are grateful for this. We had a little hiccup with tickets to the coliseum, but that was sorted out after the tour, with prompt service. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Excellent experience - Our tour with Sal was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great time visiting all of the sights in Rome and with Sal's experience getting around the city, that made it so much more enjoyable and easy for our small private group. Highly recommend this tour group!

Rome in a day - We were promptly greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable driver, Antonio. As a lifelong resident of Rome, his knowledge of the city and its history was invaluable. He knew the right amount of time at each location to maximize our enjoyment and not to become bored. We had many questions about the history of the city and he's was able to answer every one. We felt like we made a friend who shared his country with us.

Highlights of Rome and the Vatican - I have to say I have experienced many excursions in all my years and Max gave us an outstanding day of history, professionalism, polite and prompt service. We were able to experience some of the highlights of Rome plus the Vatican but it is very obvious that as they say Rome wasn’t built in a day so lots more to see. Max suggested a pizza stop and that pizza was awesome and so reasonable.
I can highly recommend Max first and then the tour. He made it very informative and enjoyable

Taking in a lot in a Short amount of time - The overall experience was great. We were able to get in as much as possible and with the wealth of knowledge showcased by our driver and the tour guide, we came back with so much more than expected. Being able to get dropped off close to the sites we were visiting was also a big plus. There is much to see and such a small time but our driver managed to make sure we had time for lunch and gelato. It is a beautiful place with even more beautiful people.

Rome in a day - We had a wonderful day exploring Rome for the first time. Everything was smooth from pick up at our port to drop off. John was excellent and taught us so much during our drive and throughout the day. It was the perfect way for our family of 6 to maximize our time and see as much as possible!

Great way to see the highlights of Rome! - Michael was fantastic and most accommodating to our group. He provided us with great information, and the drives on the back streets to get from one location to next point of interest is a memory that will not be forgotten. We were able to see Rome from a perspective that you would never get on a large bus excursion. The coordination of the Private Tour Guide for the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica was invaluable with the skip the line admission that bypassed the large crowds. The ongoing communication with Rome Private Excursions was an excellent customer service experience.

Experience Rome with Valentino!! - We had an amazing experience on this tour. Valentino our driver was the best!! He was knowledgeable of not only Rome now but its history. Every place he drove us to, was memorable along with a great story. Valentino had patience & drove with confidence in crowded places. He also took us to a nice place to eat lunch, especially delicious gelatos.
At the end of the tour he drove us to our hotel & waited until we were settled in the right place since we didn’t know the exact hotel.
Anyone looking for a great experience in Rome, as for Valentino.
Thank you and we will do it again.

The best private tours we have ever had on several occasions! - I have used Rome Private Excursions twice now and have referred them friends who have used them twice. They are the best of the best! i always tell everyone who say they are going to Italy to use them . You will not be disappointed but instead you will be amazed how much you can see in one day and the knowledge of the tour guides is amazing ! So can give them 5 gold stars!
