Weekend in Rome - Our guide, Max, was knowledgeable, fun, and flexible with our sightseeing desires. He gave us tips on each stop to help us enjoy it to the utmost. We would definitely choose this tour again.

Best Tour/Day Ever - On July 29, 2024 I went on a seven night Mediterranean cruise. During the course of the cruise we went on five excursions. We had booked two excursions through the cruise, two excursions we had decided to do on our own and one of the days we had booked a private tour. There were positives and negatives with each type of excursion and I was glad I got to experience new places in a variety of ways, however, I would personally not book excursions through a cruise in the future. Private tours are the way to go and the only way I will do things in the future. Our private tour was the day we were in Rome. It was the day I was looking forward to the most as there was so much I wanted to see. My brothers partner, was not looking forward to that day, but it ended up being her favourite day of our trip. Max, our tour guide and owner of the tour company, picked us up at the ship. He had cold water in the vehicle for each of us. The vehicle was nice and clean. Max was very professional, friendly, polite, funny and shared with us many historical facts and background info that we would not have otherwise learned. He had pictures to show us of how things were years ago versus how they are now. Because we were in a private vehicle, Max was able to get us very close to the attractions we wanted to see versus the buses that had to park far away and you had to walk, and wait for everyone in your group. Max asked us what we wanted to see (we had previously given him a list), and we reviewed our plans for the day. We would arrive at one of the destinations, he would tell us what we needed to know, gave us ample time to go and see what we wanted and then we went back to the vehicle where he was waiting for us and we moved on to the next destination. We asked for a suggestion for lunch and Max shared an adorable little restaurant that he and his family go to. We got to sample a variety of delicious Italian cuisine in a lovely quaint atmosphere. It was perfect. Being able to experience Rome in this way, while at the same time learning about all the things we would have missed out on had we not have had someone who had grown up there and shared with us, made the trip memorable. I want to go back and stay in Rome for a few months, to learn and see more. I have even put learning Italian on my to do list. I believe that is due to the amazing adventure Max took us on that day. I said earlier that there were positives and negatives with each type of excursion. Hopefully you can see the positives of a small private tour. Honestly, the only negative with this private tour was that it ended. If you ever find yourself going to Rome, do yourself a favour and book a tour with Max’s company. I know he also does tours in Florence and may even do others. I am just not aware of what all locations he does. Book the private tour. You will not be disappointed. It was the best part of our entire trip. #besttourguideever

The BEST Tour Guide and Tour of Rome - We had the most amazing time touring Rome with Max as our tour guide. He picked us up right in front of our hotel both days (2 days is PERFECT). He was friendly, funny, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable. It felt as if he was a family member showing us the city. We could not recommend him and Easitalytours any higher!!

Best tour in our time in Italy!! - Max was an amazing tour guide! I highly recommend Easitalytours. We got to see everything on our list plus more. We had time to get out and take pictures. He arranged a delicious lunch where him and his family dine. He took the time to take us to the best spots to purchase some items we were looking for. I can’t say enough about Max and his tour company. I can’t wait to book our next tour with them!!

My wife and I have stayed... - My wife and I have stayed and visited Rome many times over the years…one of our favorite cities. We came into the city for a few hours of touring from Civitavecchia, and wanted to flex the tour with our guide Max. No problem! We went to shop at Eataly, spent some time in Campo de Fiori. Saw some of the traditional sites, but also some that we had never seen before. A great day, and Max was excellent! We are happy campers!

Amazing day tour of Rome! - Amazing tour of the Rome highlights in just a few hours. We were able to see a lot in a short time. Max was the best driver! Definitely recommend. 5 stars!

10000/10 recommend - We had Max as our guide, the 2nd time we have booked with him. He is absolutely amazing and feels like family, interacting with him. So knowledgeable and accommodating and perfect. 10000/10 recommend. Won’t ever book with anyone else!!

AMAZING time in Rome! - We had a wonderful time in Rome! Easitaly tours was AMAZING to work with! We spent three days in Rome with Max, our private tour guide and driver. He was extremely knowledgeable about his city and shared so many things with us. He took us around to everything we wanted to see in Rome and more! He was extremely attentive to our needs and wants and was so flexible when we wanted to see something or go to a particular shop. He recommended some amazing restaurants that he eats at and loves and was able to get us reservations to them. He truly became a friend to us. He was such a pleasure to be around each day. We would HIGHLY recommend Max and his company to anyone and everyone. You will definitely not be disappointed!

Fantastic private tour experience - From start to finish working with Easitaly Tours was a fantastic experience. We did a two day private tour of Rome. Max, our tour guide met us seemlessly at our hotel the first day. We could not have asked for a better tour guide than Max! He was very personable and extremely knowledgable about his beloved city. His timing was impeccable knowing when to visit different places to minimize crowds and maximize our experience. His restuarant recommendations where wonderful and he went above and beyond making dinner reservations for us one evening at one of his favorite places. On the 2nd day he connected us with Aleecia for our Vatican Tour. Aleecia was also fabulous as a tour guide. We learned so much from both Aleecia and Max. We would highly recommend using Easitaly Tours and specifically Max and Aleecia. I cannot imagine trying to naviagte Rome without their instance. We had limited time in the city and Max helped us maximize that time so that we saw everything we wanted and even some hidden gems we would have only known about because of Max.

Absolutely the best way to see Rome on a first time trip!! - We were a party of 4 visiting Rome for the first time! Max from Easitaly Tours was terrific. He offered so much background information and great anecdotal stories, as well as knowing the city first-hand allowed him to utilize side streets and get us to major sites without huge lines. Even in October, Rome is packed with tourists! This tour allowed us to avoid the frustration of heading the wrong way, standing in extensive lines and being crushed by crowds. We loved, loved the personal attention including great local restaurant recommendations!
