Explore the wonders of Ancient Rome by riding a Segway on this 3-hour journey, which will lead you past remarkable landmarks such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Circus Maximus. On this self-balancing motor-driven scooter, you’ll be accompanied by a guide as you navigate through Rome’s ruins that date back 2000 years, while learning about their historical significance. Pause for picture-taking at notable locations and try out Rome’s own version of a lie detector - the Mouth of Truth (Bocca della Verità )! This tour comprises an immersive Virtual Reality session that will transport you to the heart of ancient Rome.
This intimate group tour caters to a maximum of eight participants, ensuring your guide can provide personalized interaction and guidance.
- This Tour is provided in English
- • All riders must be at least 16 years old, in accordance with Italian law. If you have children under 16 in your group, they will not be able to participate, and will not be eligible for a refund.
- Riders must have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance.
- It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. Please do not carry large bags whilst on the Segway.
- Please bring proof of identification with your confirmation voucher
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- All participants must weigh at least 90lbs (40kgs).

Your tour meets at our office, located at Via dei Delfini 35/36, 00186 Rome. We are located about 150 meters from Piazza Venezia (a 5 minute walk) and 1.5 km from the Colosseum (approximately a 15 minute walk). Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure.

Great Way to See the City at Night (Shoutout to Alessandro!) - This was a great tour, would highly recommend! It was a really nice way to see Rome, and the city is especially beautiful at night! Our guide, Alessandro, was super knowledgeable, fun, and good at teaching us how to use the Segways and navigate the roads. VR experience was cool too

A must do activity! - What a fun, memorable experience this was! After all the walking, being able to ride the segways and cover so much ground in so little time was an excellent way to visit the sights! Highly recommend! Our guide, Sergio, was incredible and knowledgeable. We’d do this again in a heartbeat!

A fun way to get around Rome - This was so much fun and our guide Liv was excellent. She has a few challenges with those that thought they could do their own thing and not listen to her but she soon had them under control. A great way to see some of the sites we didn’t even consider visiting as time was limited.

Fun way to cruise around Ancient Rome. - Such a fun way to get around Rome and see the ancient sites. Our guide was Matt and he made the experience safe and enjoyable and kept us out of the hot sun for most of the tour. Sunday was a good day for the tour as some of the heavy traffic roads in the forum were closed to traffic.

Loved it! - We absolutely loved our tour! Our tour guide was extremely lovely and patient and it’s really nice to sail straight through all the crowds on a Segway. When we had our tour there was a concert on and people dancing in the streets. Was a really special moment cruising along to the live music. Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience!!!! A Must Do in Rome! - Lorena was amazing!! The VR simulation was a super cool way to see what ancient Rome looked like. Lorena had tons of great historical facts and information to share - she was very knowledgeable! It was also a great way to see the highlights of Rome in a fun way!
