Wonderful experience with lots of wine and superb food. - It was an excellent experience and the staff were fun, passionate and Ginevra in particular was just amazing. The Fabullus winery in Trastevere is a romantic little place, full of charm, history and tastefully decorated. The boat experience was enjoyable and gave us the opportunity to take some great photos and get away from the traffic for a while. I would definitely recommend this experience as it was one of the best for us during our trip to Italy. I hope to be back in Rome soon!

Trip Highlight - Unfortunately the boat trip was cancelled as the river was too high but we walked to the Wine Cellar. Really excellent food and wine tasting. We loved both the food and the wines and the young lady was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Highlight of our trip.

Best wine pairing in Roma - Ginevra has developed relationships with wine producers from all over Italy and as a result as her customer you get the benefit of those relationships and get to taste some of the most amazing wines in Italy!! And she pairs it all perfectly with quintessential Italian treats! She and Lorenzo are warm and funny and engaging!!

Wine and food tasting were Bravissimo! - The river tour was not great. The app explains that it starts at 5 pm but we went to the boat. You have to read the detail and start at Fabuluus wine cellar. However, the wine and food tasting were sensational! Ginevra was so wonderful and fun, great knowledge and highly personal touch! We loved it!

Crazy unique and intimate - So here is the full scoop in English, for our fellow American travelers because we know what Americans expect. I want to start by saying this was a crazy unique experience. Well worth the money,(and I dont take that lightly) very informative, and an incredibly intimate ambiance with maybe 6 tables underground in a cellar, quite honestly. This small adventure is not about the "amount of food", or "quality of the dinner" that you get for the money....so dont plan it with this expectation. This is more for a connoisseur of food pairings who will appreciate her efforts as she personally explains the intricacies for each of many pairings of wine/cheese/breads/and chocolate eery few minutes while you dine. It's very romantic, not easy to find (use Google with the address). And the single biggest advice we can give is to NOT pair this trip with the river boat ride to reach. That was confusing as hell. The boat was gross and the crew had no knowledge of our pre-paid trip for the dining experience... like they were completely unrelated. The boat ride does NOT match at all the finer cuisine you are destined for. Just use a cab or walk it if you are near the Tiber. Skip the boat. The entrepreneur gal who opened this location below a local hostel did a great job and we wish her the best success.

Super tasting and no boat trip - so a great experience with a overall flat feeling - Wine and food tasting was really good. I mean, really good. We were two team friends and had the whole cellar for ourselves. The waiter/winer was cute, skilled, knowledgeable, funny and a pleasure to be with. Wine and food was really good. Therefore, the experience should get 5/5 stars. But the boat trip was under criticism. We did not reach it before the tasting and therefore wrote to the booking agency how we could then get off the next day (24 hours duration) They wrote that we should just meet up at the cage the next day. But there was no boat. And it didn't seem to have been too long for everything was blocked with stills and signs up at the bridge. We received an email that it was elevated water level and that we would be notified within a few hours. Then it took another couple of hours and still too high water levels, according to the agency. We might be able to arrive the next day, they said, but it was the day of departure, so it was not possible for us. We asked for compensation and were told that we could get almost 200 kr. We had paid over 3000 kr for the whole package, and at the wine tasting there was 91 € per person, so that was at least a difference of around 500 kr. We wrote back and forth and ended up with a refund of about NOK 470. We really looked forward to the whole package of sailing and tasting, so it's a flat feeling. Also that we have to spend time writing back and forth and arguing for price. Taste was at the top - but the other under all criticism. Then book tasting directly at the wine cellar and walk past the office.

Fun experiences in Rome - We thought the wine tasting was during the boat ride. However, It all worked out since the boat tickets were valid before or after the tasting. The wine tasting experience was excellent; quality, atmosphere, and overall experience. Highly recommend the Fabulous Wine Bar!

Solo travel - The wine tasting was amazing but the river cruise wasn't really worth it. The water is dirty and you don't get any information on anything you pass.

Miss connections! - Our Tiber river experience was not the best because of the tour guide confusing the time we were supposed to be ending at our food tasting tour. We were too late riving for the food tasting tour and was told it was sold out, but thankfully management reached out to us and scheduled us for a later time which was convenient for all. Thus are experience was hectic and unforgivable, but in the end we thoroughly enjoyed the food tasting experience.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR - The advertisement was for a world class food and boat tour. But what you actually get is a pontoon boat, no food, and go from one drop off to the next. There is no tour, you are just on a boat for a few minutes. The food tasting is not on the boat or near the boat launch. It's in a completely different location and we didn't get the address for that location until the morning of the tour when we were already headed to the launch off point. . The whole thing was completely deceptive and a complete waste of funds. I would have had a better time if I had walked and stopped at different cafes along the way. The pictures are deceptive. Completely not what you will actually get.
