Pompeii, Amalfi Coast & Sorrento Day Trip - The trip is as exactly as described when booking. The organizers are prompt and very professional. The guide (Antonino) was amazing! Very informative he had a great deal of information, history and knowledge and gave many tips about the places we had visited. He had a great attitude and was very courteous. The driver Giovanni was professional and punctual.

The best tour guide I've been with, John - The trip was absolutely stunning, and the views was even better. We had John as our tour guide, he was brilliant . We loved how he was easy to talk to, it wasn't awkward around him and without him I think the trip wouldn't be the same, so make sure to give him a big thank you and a huge raise/bonus.

If Carlsberg did day trips…. - Jonathon was a very good guide. Kept us all updated throughout the day on everything from the weather to where to eat to the history of the area. Very knowledgeable on all aspects of the trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Pompeii/Almafi coast - Our day was spent with John today and it was great! He was very organized and educated on everything we passed through and was always prepared for any questions! The weather was not cooperating so we did have to go through rainy and wet trails, but was still great! Highly recommend to have a day worth’s booked with John!

Good experience to visit Pompeii. - John is very knowledgeable and friendly, we enjoy his humor too. The bus ride is about 8 hours round trip, we got stops along the way, so the trip was not too tiring.

Excellent organisation and value for money! - Our tour guide John (Johnathan) was an excellent story-teller, very knowledgeable and well-organised. I really enjoyed the tour depsite the rainy weather!
The only point of improvement would be an opportunity to refill water bottles with tap water in some water fountain (as opposed to having options of just buying the water at expensive highway stops or limoncello factory), given that tap water is freely available and drinkable in Italy.
Overall, I would really recommend this tour!

Brilliant! - Booked last minute and so delighted we did!! Communication was excellent, clear instructions on meeting arrangements. Our guide was Barbara and she was fantastic! Great tour guide, so informative and funny. We absolutely loved our trip. Julio, our driver, was excellent, especially along the windy roads of Sorrento. Loved that Barbara taught us Italian words, Italian gestures and the impromptu sing-song was hysterical. I would definitely use City Wonders tours again on our next visit. Also our guide at Pompeii, Frederica, was very informative, receptive to all questions. Overall a smashing day trip!

Pompeii is a must see! - I was told by multiple relatives that if I had time for a day trip to visit Pompeii while in Rome that I should go. The trip did not disappoint.
Jonathan was an incredible guide and filled my head with so much history and interesting facts that it was amazing.
Pompeii is a true miracle to see. Pictures do not do it justice. To see an entire city frozen in time is something you don’t want to miss.
Seeing sorrento was excellent as well.

We had a very informative... - We had a very informative tour of the Pompeii ruins, and some great views and photos of the Amalfi coast en route to Sorrento. Our Sorrento stop was cool and cloudy unfortunately. We are traveling in February so we aren’t too concerned about weather. The bus dropped us in an area with shopping, and restaurants, and was not close to an area where you could even see the ocean very well.
